  1. Dont forget to do a build log and pictures, sounds like some nice power you have in your hands my friend.
  2. Check your grounds and all your connections (even the subs in the enclosure).
  3. Email Jacob at [email protected], that would of been my first step and wait for his resonse. Well make a compromise, either try and fix it on your own/ void the warranty or send it in to get fixed (those are about the only two options you have here).
  4. Its rms period is 2000 watts (dont use max at all, it confuses things). If your stuck on Sundown, with that budget you will have to buy used: Refurbished SAZ-3000D : dB-r Electronics, Online Store Refurbished SAZ-3500D : dB-r Electronics, Online Store
  5. Maybe I should have put a disclaimer on that statment ,I was simply trying to make a point, I would not recommend someone run a Flatlyne on 2k + I really hope this would not cause someone to put 3X the power to there FL's this would not be my intention . Well next time give the reasons on how your sub could handle 3 times its rated power instead of just saying you did. With statements like these and youtube videos showing people running more than rms (2 times or times the rms amount) to there subwoofer it gives the beginers the idea of doing it. Most people go off what they see, so if they read that exactly how you put it then they will assume my Flatlyne can take 2250 rms with no problem even though its rated at 750rms.
  6. , nice choice on equipment and cant wait for the build log.
  7. Since you dont feel like returning the bolts and getting the size you need then it looks like you may have to drill the screw hole in the subwoofer a little bigger.
  8. Lets see some results, any more db's?
  9. , cant wait for pictures
  10. How did you blow it, too much power or clipped signal?
  11. No Im not far from it, Im still a beginner at this whole box stuff so I dont feel my advice or info would help much
  12. Nice start and good list of equipment
  13. It hasnt been an hour yet, calm down dude. Site is usually slow during the day but you will get some responses soon.
  14. The blue tops are there marine batteries, I dont see why wont work since they are still batteries. If they are brand new and you got them for a $100, that is a steal. Install them and if they dont hold up then sell them and get what you need.
  15. You shouldnt be using it all, turning it that high is dangerous especially if you didnt take account for the boost while setting up your amplifier.
  16. 10 or 12 gauge will do fine, 8 gauge isnt necessary but you know the saying
  17. No its rms wattage is 2000 rms @ 1 ohm, dont refer to max on equipment. It wouldnt really make any sense to run each amp to each sub considering your subs are dual 1 ohms, you either need an amp with a 1 ohm final load with the power you need or two amps with the power you need at 2 ohms. You should look for something within your budget and power needed for your application. If you look at the Sundown SAZ-3500D, then you will need to look for a used one with a budget like that.
  18. First why do you want to run at .5 ohms, what will you run and how much power is needed? What is your budget on amps?
  19. With the amount of power your running I would suggest that you just get a third Havoc but if you planned on upping the power then I would definitely go the Mayhem route, just my .02
  20. 1/0 awg wire is what it takes
  21. Gotta make a video for us to at least get a taste of the Blues 6.5"s
  22. Any pictures or videos of the install, wanna see this thing in action
  23. You may want to invest in a better volt meter unless you know what the actual voltage high is and low is, but it seems like your electrical is suffering if you say it is low.
