What kind of battery should i get?
It doesn't? Then y can i not just keep my stock battery to run my system? i guess i don't understand that? because im sure that if i put 2 type r alpines in my car then it would be 10x's different and there would be no call for an after market battery :/ sorry to say it but i think the fact that i have an 18" BTL dual 2 makes all the difference in the world. you see im running 3850 watts "roughly" through my 18" and that comes into play with how much power i need but that's the thing i don't know i have no idea how much power i should have because the BTL Fi could draw from that battery faster (which it will) then a normal subwoofer like the alpines. but how much is the question of which i do not know. so how much will the BTL Fi's draw is how much power i need. which comes to play with 1 or 2 batteries. and what size. Just for an FYI, the amp determines the battery(s) you will need and not the sub. Considering the sub does not make power it only accepts it, the amp makes the power so it takes power to make power. But the sub will determine what amp you will put on it, the only thing that will determine battery size is the amp(s) that will be used in the setup.

Which amp is best for my xcon.
When it comes to amps you need to buy one that will suit your needs, either you can get one so you dont have to up your electrical ouput or you have to make a decision if you do get a powerful amp that you will have to upgrade your electrical. So after making that decision then set a budget for your amp and find one that fits your goals, its that simple. You can even get a 2000watt amp or better, no problem with having headroom as long as you set your gains right. But first set goals for your system and then make decisions on an amp that will help you reach that goal.

Which route should I take?
Depending on the size of the box it can be good price but you still can build your own cheaper. Car audio is all about compromise so yeah a sealed box will due (if your sub can be in a sealed box) until you get what you want, I wouldnt do the prefab box because that is 70 that you could of spent on a custom box.

My new enclosure, what takes so long?
Well wait, you cant listen to it anyway and you dont have your license to April so there is no time to rush a box. Either wait till somebody gets back to you, build it yourself or get one done locally. The more impatient you are is not going to get your box fixed any faster, so just be patient and wait till someone gets back to you. I would make a temporary box so you can have something until the one you want gets built if your that much in a hurry.

Sundown Audio Z-15" (D4) Enclosure
Bromo I need your help, Im glad I made a mock box before I put it in the car. If you could bring the width to 33"W x 19"D x 16"H tuned to 30Hz with a single baffle and one at 33"W x 18"D x 16"H tuned to 30Hz with a single baffle (I will decide on one between those two). Thanks Again.

Which amp is best for my xcon.
It has to do with the car's having two different type's of cabin gain and frequency resonance, plus the altrenator was bigger giving your amp more power (either one of those or all of those played a factor into the sound difference). Putting a setup in one car and then another car will yield different results all the time.

Chris' Wall Build in the Aviator vids p.35
From my understanding if your competing then that will help you out with a few more tenths on the meter thats all, wont be noticeable to the ear.

Similar Subs
You cant really compare subs since they are all made with different goals in mind, you cant go wrong with any subs on this forum as long as there in there recommended enclosure you will get great output and performance from them.

saz1500D vs fosgate 1500.1
That is going to come down to a coin toss, the only reason why I would pick the Sundown over the Rockford Fosgate is that it doesnt have an adjustable sub sonic filter. So that will only give you a small range for you to tune your ported box too, which can be a downfall to some.

Welcome to the IHoP
Brett Farve better not start that again this year, after today's game and all those hits he took I think this will be his last year. Plus he made it one game away from the Super Bowl, he knows he doesnt have it in him again and this is the best way to retire. I know he would of wanted a Super Bowl but at least he had one more chance at one if it wasnt for all those turnovers.

Welcome to the IHoP
Drew Brees deserves to win the Super Bowl, lets go Saints.

Sufficient enough electrical? Hifonics BXi2610d
Definitely stop bumping so hard at idle, that is voltage killer right there. I wouldnt put that Hifonics BXI-2610D on that Kinetik 1200, your gonna need a bigger battery depending on your listening habits (I can tell so far that it wouldnt be enough). Install a voltmeter and bigger secondary battery and monitor your voltage then go from there since all car's electrical will act different, but that should be a start.

Sae 1200 on stock alternator?
Will you have any other amps in the car besides the Sundown, if not then adding a yellowtop will due or any other battery equivalent to that.

Welcome to the IHoP
One thing I can count on from Peyton Manning is he will play to the end, that is the difference between champions and average players (Jets, full of average players).

volt meters
Also remember to read the instructions (not saying you dont) but these have a feature on them where they need to be matched with your electrical or it wont read the right voltage out. You will have to take the top off and make an adjustment to something on the inside of the unit itself, just a heads up

volt meters
Stinger SVMR (the red volt meter) Stinger SVMB (the blue volt meter) Type this in your search bar or on ebay and they should pop up.
