You should try to get in contact with this dude, he does great work in the area. Most of his builds for customers are on S M D. I used to have his number, ill see if i can get some info for you. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/topic/63397-6-sp4-18s-6th-order-lots-of-glass-and-plexi/- NeoPro 6.5 or SA 6.5CS
Everybody beat me to it, those neo's will be allowed to play frequencies lower than they would like with a passive crossover set from components. Yes active will be your best bet, even if you have components and have the capabilities to ditch the passive crossovers. I would still run active.- NeoPro 6.5 or SA 6.5CS
You wont be able to use current crossovers with any new speakers you buy, since they are designed to be used with the speakers they are sold with. The Neo-Pros are pro audio speakers, they dont have the midbass most car audio speakers do but they will give you vocals and clarity if needed. With your setup I personally would stick with a set of components and start from there. If the mids arent enough you can always swap them out in the future. If you went the Neo-Pro route you are gonna need a tweeter as well, since they are only mids sold individually.- Pictures of your new equipment
Missed my 2010 SSA Icon 15" so I decided to grab another one, thanks again SSA and Aaron as well.- Pictures of your new equipment

Did you put the speakers back on the stock factory wiring?- 98 grandprix,SSA,Crescendo, build

With the equipment he has just for the front stage should answer your question, more than likely a show or demo vehicle.- Team EVILS
And that is Sanchez explorer right....Yes as Senchez made a post about them in his thread a while back.So why do others claim they have them too They want to be cool also- Team EVILS
And that is Sanchez explorer right....Yes as Senchez made a post about them in his thread a while back.So why do others claim they have them too You seem gullible at times. If others claim to be at 160 would you believe it? Like posted above with wrong information about what an Evil is im sure someone thought they had them or all Evils were teams or just maybe want to be part of the "in crowd", as that seems like the new thing in car audio.- incriminator audio scion xb build, 2 18" judges on an NS1
Should always try a new enclosure befor putting different subs in the same enclosure I agree but when you have a wall built it wouldn't hurt to see how the new subs would do before a tear down.- Team EVILS

I would start over or take a step or two back. You probably have cancellation among other things. More is not always better. But if you are only worried about making noise and being loud then you are on the right path. Like stated before you need another amp, I would never run my mids on a mono amp. More information about your build would help as well as pictures.- Alton's 2010 Chevy Traverse build log

Happy Birthday man, where is the party at?- xoutofmyheadx's slow avy build
If guessing amplifier output were this easy there wouldnt be a need for more expensive tools to determine this value. Music is dynamic and not all frequencies draw the same power output so even if the number you came up was correct your subs would only see that power for maybe a tenth of a second.- How would you wire this setup?
Great info here. Ya idk for some reason yesterday and today there has been wayy more engine and floor noise. Rewiring everything next weekend. so we will set the appropriate grounds as you mentioned above My fault, the first sentence in the second paragraph should read, check your S800/4 gains (not grounds).- How would you wire this setup?
How is your radio and amps grounded? Is paint sanded where grounds are located? Are they good grounds? I always add an 8-12 guage wire from my headunits ground wire to a piece of metal behind my dash, always clears any unwanted noises. I never just ground it to the radios wiring harness from the vehicle. I usually add the ground wire from the vehicles wiring harness and the ground from the radios wiring harness into one end of a butt connector and the bigger wire on the other end attach to the dash. Hope that makes sense, may help you instead of removing crossovers. But with equipment you have going active will be better than passive. Another thing is to try to check your S800/4 grounds, may have them to high as well causing unwanted floor noise. Determine what speakers the wine is coming from, play mids by themselves and then tweets.- How would you wire this setup?
Glad we could get some things figured out for you, anymore questions just ask.- How would you wire this setup?
How are the rcas currently connected?- How would you wire this setup?
Yes that's how i would wire the rcas.- How would you wire this setup?
what about the other 4 tweeters and 4 mids?He only has 4 mids and 4 tweets, which consist of 2 sets of components. You are confused Sean - Fort worth / dallas , tx wall builder ?
