  1. What made you decide to do rear firing? Enclosure came out real nice, looking good so far.
  2. You and me both
  3. Where in Texas are you located? If ported specs on box would help. What is your box tuned at? If it is what is your SSF set at? What is your LPF set at on your amp? Does your headunit have sub settings, if so what are they set to? No Bass Boost on head unit or amplifier, not needed. Take sub out of box and inspect it, both subwoofer for any loose parts and box for any leaks or broken parts.
  4. Well in that case jump on the b stock while there are some left, and yes the 10 would be better in that size enclosure.
  5. The only 12'' I know that likes small boxes are the DSS Ethos, they take 1.5 cubic feet tuned to 32hz. I dont know if Quentin has any motors left but you can check out his section on this forum and pm/email him if your interested. The SA-12 could work, but that box is on the small side. What is your budget for a subwoofer?
  6. Its not on the large side at all, Sundown recommends 1.25-1.5 cubic feet for the SA-10 in a ported enclosure. Op go with the SA-10 and you should be set.
  7. Well coming in like a know it all to only show you know so much, you get what you give. Were not doubting everything you say but we want to make sure everything is exactly what you say. We could give advice on one aspect while the whole time it was something else cause you said so. See how that works
  8. u sure? here is 2 for sale on local craigslist? http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/ele/4458810575.htmlObviously it is a recone, look at the sloppy glue job.
  9. Yeah older model boob cone, when the SSA letters where either Blue or White.
  10. There is no way you only have one red top battery and big 3 for 2400 watt amp and your voltage stays at 14.3volts. Measure your voltage when system is playing to see how well your voltage is maintaining, if it dips bad then you need more electrical. I still to this day dont understand why people dont install volt meters when installing a system over a 1000 watts, just baffles me.
  11. Yeah I know that, just wanted a comparison picture but its cool. Thanks though, im interested in swtiching from weldingsupply to Eb if its worth it.
  12. Any pics comparing the copper of the two wires, if not no biggie.
  13. Happy Birthday, dont party too hard without us
  14. Trust me I understand, I cant wait to see it all pan out
  15. I forsee a lot of cancellation with all those speakers. I remember the days when my car had 21 speakers in it, not including the subwoofers. Good times
  16. Party over there, enjoy it.
  17. Its not that he didnt want the amp repaired, obviously he feels the amp should be under warranty and it was a defect more than a user error. So why should he have to pay for the repair? Hope that makes sense.
  18. If people had issues with them it was more than likely user error so how does that help you. And if it was defected or DOA from the company im sure they take care of their customers. Great amps for the money. Its electronics, so yes some people are going to have issues (just the nature of the industry).
  19. Wanted a 4 channel a couple years back, should of grabbed one. Tuned it so far
  20. Im loving the finish on that box so far
  21. Whats going in the doors that requires that much wire?
