I really wanted to kick him in the fucking twat just for being stupid, but i just said thanks buddy, and went on about my way. Cops dont really care too much about stopping crime anymore, it's all about making that money and noise violations are a cash cow.

I just installed one of these along with the pxa-h100 Friday. Got a good deal, but not this good. It sucks you have to spend another $100 to be able to run active now, but I decided I wanted a new unit with warranty and USB instead of buying a used one.......... so it is what it is I guess. As for the HU, I really like it so far. SQ is really very good.

Wow, pretty big difference between that first diagram and the second especially with the only difference being the ground to the last instead of the first. I think I will do that one with mine, seems easy enough. Thanks for the link!

The good news is those mids will play up to 2000/2500hz and play loud. Plus you have 8 mm xmax and a FS of 50hz so you can EQ some decent midbass into these. You have lots of options and it should be a nice set up when your done. Since Brad has experience, I would follow his advice and start at 1200hz with a 24db slope. He would know better than me. I wish I could find the link, but Eric posted up some EQ settings as a starting point that were said to make a great reference. I am sorry, but I cant find that anymore. If someone does have this info please post it up as i will be doing this myself one day soon. Good luck Sir, I am sure it will be nice.

It gets worse Buddy. Your factory alt is prolly putting out 80amps at idle and the truck is most likely using half that alone. That's a big amp and will require a significant investment in your electrical to power it. I dont suggest throw money away for no reason, but a HO alternator and a big group 31 battery would be a good starting point.
