  1. I know I have a big smile. I ran a pair of 15's sealed too. That was a very nice set up and got loud too.
  2. 2 15" xcons sealed + 6cf enclosure = you with a big smile.
  3. Looks nice Troy. That's a big damn woofa! I had been looking for these pics since last week when you said it was delivered, missed your post I guess. Tuned in now tho.
  4. The Phoenix Gold RSD's that Shogen linked are a great bang for the buck! Up your budget a little and the ID CTX's are nice too.
  5. You will sell them to me NOW!
  6. Someone grab 2 to share one with a friend?
  7. Are you saying the amp is screwed to bare metal? If so, yeah that could be your ground noise. Put some MDF under it. Ground loops suck, basically you need to just start unplugging shit and tracing it down. How is your HU grounded, factory ground wire? If so, ground it to bare metal at the chassis
  8. Ah, meant to say driver side. Sorry. Would really appreciate it if you did post up a drawing. If my buddy gets his done, I will try to get some specs off it too and some pics.
  9. I am. I've been collecting this crap for over a year and then some. That's what I'm thinking. I'm just a little jumpy about hanging 650lbs worth of batteries and having it hold. I know the feeling Buddy. I have run out of room for bats now and now will be adding 2 more amps. Waiting on a friend to get his done so I can check it out before i take the plunge myself. Second choice is removing the passenger side rear panel and building a rack there over the wheel well.

Try it sealed first. You will be pleasantly surprised at the output. I am not just guessing at this either. If you wanted more, you could port it later.
  11. Hahaha. I hope soon, but I've got a ways to go. I've got to figure out how to mount my babies, I mean batteries. Here is a pics of their arrival home. Spare tire is what i am thinking.
  12. I saw your build thread last night as a matter of fact. Very nice to say the least!! I'm thinking about tearing the driver-side rear panel out and do the whole side in fiberglass to house the sub/subs.. And try to keep the factory panel on the outside (stealth) LOL. I haven't seen any builds anywhere like this for us Yukon/Suburban drivers. I've seen guys close to the idea using that area for amp racks and such and the redo of the factory subwoofer box. Thanks for the warm welcome guys!! Yeah, you actually have a good bit of room back there. At one time I had 2 yellow tops hidden in the drivers side. A couple of Dcons would be sweet back there. I would think you could build the box inside and just glass a beauty panel on the face to pretty it up. Looking forward to see what you do.
  13. Thats where I get my wire too. Never had a problem and the wire is nice.
  14. Welcome to SSA! I have a stealth install in my Yukon XL too.
  15. That should be good Bro. I would get a digital volt meter and hook it up to monitor what the amp is seeing.
