  1. She's a sexy bitch! Nice score.
  2. Have you done the big 3? What is your stock alt rated for? How is your amp grounded?
  3. Thanks a lot man, I appreciate that. Come on down bro, anytime. I might have to make that happen Randal. Looks like it's a really great show and it would be fin to throw back a few with you guys. I want some seat time in all the Team LP rides too. We can make this happen bro !!! Awesome !!! Sounds good bro. I will do my very best to make it happen. Going to look for the dates now. Might PM if i have any questions. I will let you know that there will NOT be any snow at this event ... It might even get a little warm there ... I hope it's warm, I wanna see some titties. The best titties are the ones i have not seen. lol Thank you Sir.
  4. Sounds like the hatch area is turning it into a bandpass. Moving away from the rear door will help that. The old school systems from back in the day would get loud and look/sound good also. I hate the pure SPL systems of today. They are 1 note wonders that will not play music. Keep yours going in the direction you are headed, "being loud, looking good and sounding good" is worth the effort. Bandpass - Exactly. I think it will too John. I appreciate all the work it takes to put up those really high numbers, but that is not for me. I have to drive around and listen to it, it has to be enjoyable everyday! Thanks Buddy.
  5. Thanks Bro, I appreciate that. The last time I was on the meter, not so good. I had all kinds of issues, but had just installed it. I did a 152.3 sealed legal playing Lil Jon - BME Click I had issues with my amps going into protect and could not get it to full volume without it shutting down on me. I have ZERO impedance rise which is good, but that's not helping my amps the way the box is now. The hatch right now is acting like the port since the enclosure too close to the hatch. Measuring the opening at the hatch and the space there, we came up with it putting my tuning around 26/27hz. It's loud as shit to the ear, but not getting any air up on the windshield. It's trapped at the hatch. It sounds and feels like a 155, but the meter don't lie. The bastard. lol I am going to relocate my batteries when it warms up a little bit and then I can push the box away from the hatch another 8-10". I think that and the second HO alternator I added will gain me a good bit. I was hoping for a 153 on music and I don't think that is out of the question. I would be happy with anything over 153 with me being tuned low. After I move the box and with my current electrical upgrades, if I still don't get 153+ (I don't see how I cant) I am considering 4 zcons on a big ass amp or adding 2 more xcons and another GP3000D. I am in wall class anyway, so why not wall it off with 6 18's right? lol Fact is other than bass-race or drive-by I am going to get my ass kicked. There are just too many big ass systems around here. I am not going to have a shitty sounding system just to put up a big score. That was never my goal and never will be. I just like to show off! He He
  6. check it on crutchfield, they should give you the max depth. I went and looked, I thought they did, guess not anymore. Maybe search google or something. sorry!
  7. Sounds like the "reputable installer" put you in a prefab enclosure. Sucks bro, but yeah that box is tuned to like 43-44hz. Build your own, contact one of the builders on here, or do like cobra said temporarily extend the port externally.
  8. lol. gotta do what i gotta do man I feel ya Bro. Might get more done with out the wife and ya Little Man around. lol
  9. Should be nice. Your Pops going to help ya out? Make a deal with him, you clean the garage and he helps on the box. I would take that deal.
  10. I might have to make that happen Randal. Looks like it's a really great show and it would be fin to throw back a few with you guys. I want some seat time in all the Team LP rides too. 11. Working road trip build, now that's dedication right there.
  12. 3" mid / 1" tweeter Steve. Would have to play around with location, woofer in the door / mid and tweeter in the kick might work out too.
  13. I might have to make that happen Randal. Looks like it's a really great show and it would be fin to throw back a few with you guys. I want some seat time in all the Team LP rides too.
  14. You do excellent work Quentin. Here is another one of your boxes. Very nice box, sounded great!!!
  15. Thanks John! Glad the snow is gone, LOL. Yeah, I get her plenty dirty from time to time. I am a southern boy after all. Thanks Bro! I appreciate it.
  16. Shit looks real nice Bro! Very clean.
  17. Yeah that 50 is part of the crossover. SSF is set in the twenties.
  18. What is Will running for power still the 2 3000d's? Those look really badass guys. You two are going to end up getting me divorced. lol
  19. Yeah, I would like to see some parameters also.
  20. maybe i need to get some then Mash Here I will look through my email, but I think they sent me a promo code to save 10% on the next purchase. Good thing too because i have nowhere left to put them. lol For some reason the slim ballast kits are off of the site? I hope they come back. The Raptor kits should also be good though. The ballast are just a bit larger. I have heard they can cause radio static/interference though because they are analog and not full digital like the slims. I have 3 sets of the raptors, trust me if they caused noise they would be gone in a heartbeat. lol Mounting is not an issue with a truck, no need for the slim ballasts, IMO. I agree with your post above, they really need to be installed in projectors if possible. I have El cheapo projectors now but at least they don't blind oncoming traffic. I would love a better cutoff and one day, I will tackle a retrofit with some nice projectors. Mine - not a great cutoff. I think I have light leaking out one of the holes on the passenger side or need to adjust the bulb. I didn't notice the light up over the cutoff on the passenger side until I took this photo, but I am not getting flashed by traffic so guess it's all good for now anyway.
  21. "Summer sub set up" I love how you have broken down your installs in to seasons now. lol If your not out for just numbers and want a really great sounding, low end smashing subwoofer...... you already know what to do. XCON tuned low.
  22. Not all pro audio drivers lack midbass, I got 8mm on my 10's.......mmuuuuhahahaha! I wanted to try out the AA mids too, but I went a different route since I only wanted one mid per door. Maybe one day I will give them a try! Good luck with whatever you decide to go with.
  23. How high can those AA mids play? You are going to need to cross those Seleniums over pretty damn high, like 5000hz with any power on em. They get loud as fuck tho and can tweaked to blend ok if your mids can play up high.
