  1. Cool, glad to see you moving forward with this.
  2. Welcome to the forum. I am going to say No, you do not have enough electrical to support 5000w plus, not even close. you better keep a close eye on that voltage.
  3. 6 of one and half dozen of the other.
  4. Hey all. So these finally came back in to stock and I jumped on one time I saw it. My vehicle - GMC Yukon with 5.3 My Irraggi Amputator was charging real nice first thing in the morning getting up to 14v then a few minutes later, it would settle in at around 13.6v and stay there pretty much all day. I was not happy and was considering buying another alt. I purchased the VCM from the SSA store and as usual communication and ship time were first class. Installation was straight forward taking around 15-20 minutes. There is really no way to install it wrong as it's plug and play. I mounted it temporarily as I wanted to find the sweet spot as to where to set it to charge. I will mount it behind my plexi cover where my Stinger is now in the future. As for the results...I am 110% satisfied! My voltage first thing in the morning is 15.3 and once things warm up the VCM keeps things plugging along 14.8 all day long. I could set it to charge higher, but I felt this was plenty for daily driving. This is a wonderful product and I am completely satisfied with the purchase. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to get that little extra and have complete control over their charging voltage.
  5. Looks nice bro. Didnt you have a Samsung? Still have that? How is does the projector compare to the flat screen? I need to seriously overhaul my home set up. Some of it is nice, but very dated. My Infinity reference front are a good 15 years plus old. I could find better certainly, but they sound good with everything so they are staying. lol
  6. NICE! I wish the wife gave a shit about audio. I would sooooo buy a pair of these to put in her car.
  7. Why didn't I marry you? Do you have a sister?
  8. looking forward to seeing some tunes in here.
  9. i'm not worried about the power...will the RF sound much better on 2 type r 12" 1243 or 1223s? No, it will not sound better or worse for that matter. Buy what fits your budget and has the features you need.
  10. Huh? what do you want to know>?
  11. Got to agree with johnecon on that one. Put it in the trunk or wall it off.
  12. I have no experience with the Havocs so I wont comment there. Hopefully someone will chime in with a good review for you to compare. I currently have 18" XCONS now and they replaced 15" XCONS. I am upgrading in the near future to 4 18's and they will be XCONS also. They just do everything very well. They get loud and sound amazing doing so. I have run them sealed and ported and they sound excellent in both enclosures. If extremely accurate, deep, tight bass, that will get loud enough to hurt you is your goal.....you wont be disappointed with the XCONS. The phrase SQL is a no/no on here, but I have no problem with it. Why give a SQ subwoofer a 1750rms rating if people didn't want this mythical SQL? The sub level control on your HU can give you a little of both. I think my current set up sounds damn good at a moderate volume, but when I turn up the volume up on the subs they will tear shit up.
  13. Whats their price? I believe SMD has a discount coupon on them and you can look on amazon too.
  14. Look on Amazon at Kinetik HC1400 ($172) or largest you can fit, Free shipping and the price is damn good, IMO. I bought a HC2000 and 2 HC2400's in the past month and ordering another 2 in a few days. ($279 for the 2400) Wonder why I will need all these batteries........hummmmmmmmm.
  15. Looks really good man. Should sound sweet when you get her finished.
  16. WTF? Is it not okay for someone to like something the forum doesn't have a boner for? AM I missing something about fosgate? When did it become cheap flea market crap? Op was pretty specific about what he wants. That is a nice amp op. Good luck with your search.
  17. color was perfect. Check my build log for pics.
  18. Those ID CTX are a nice set for the money! Agree on the Qforms. I am using them now, and they are quite flimsy out the box. A MDF ring and some sound deadener and now they are 3X's as heavy as stock. Yes I agree with SandT, they fit very well and look stock. Now i am only running a 3" mid and the tweeter in mine with my midbass in the door, but they do the job they are designed to do and are nice for the money.
  19. Meah, after helping someone install some of the Knu CCA cable, I will stick to welding cable thank you very much. That Knu CCA is pure shit IMO.
  20. Welcome.
  21. Mash Here! 8-10 sq" of port per cf of box.
