DC power is a vendor on here, the prices depend on the output you want, ask for the options on your truck. Get a volt meter and install it somewhere to see how bad of a voltage drop you get. If it's getting lower than about 12.5 then you need to beef up your electrical or turn it down.

You can use a 10k amp, depends on where you set the gain But really you can get it and watch your voltage and go from there. But a HO alt would be a wise investment with a big battery or 2, like lance said. There is a big chance sooner or later your stock alt will burn up. I did it with less than 1500 watts on a 60 amp alt

I haven't yet. I like it way it is now. Not sure if ill be able to notice a difference. If i do go inverted i wont be able to wire it the way it is now, so ill be sending less power. Would only be able to run at 2 ohms on one channel. the amp rates that at ~160 watts, compared to what i have now; rated at 100 watts per coil. If i mount the sub normal it would take even more power to get as loud because of the lack of volume, so i think ill keep it this way. I'm happy, why fix something that's not broken It's within the recommended size for the 12, POSSIBLY a little on the larger side.
