Depends on your goals, for some that will be too much for others not enough.
  2. Ideas on what? You just described your box. I don't think that you know what low is however
  3. I also am really confused. You are asking for conflicting things. Perhaps you should describe your goals without using the terms SQ, LSQ, or SPL. Then maybe we'd understand how to help. What you are currently asking makes no sense with what you think you are getting.

Sold my old boat today. When it rains it pours, been for sale for three weeks but had three offers today. The last two kept trying to up the price at the end they were $200 over what I was asking. I still kept my word and sold it to the first guy though. Too bad as it could have paid for dinner. 4 of us, sushi and $340 later...at the cheapest place in town.

The New river has some FREAKING MONSTER carp. I never fished for them until I discovered the secret sauce lol. The best bait I have found here was result of an accident. I took my niece and nephew with me fishing one day. They each had a little bowl of cereal, neither wanted milk on it, so they ended up drinking it. Rule on my boat for them is one soda, then water or gatorade the rest of the day. They get the treat of one soda, and they some how manage to ration that sob so they have some every time they eat lol. One of them had a strawberry soda. The lid was left off and it was knocked over. Some of it got into the little bowl of dried frosted flakes one of them had. While cleaning the mess up, my niece (4 at the time) dumped the cereal and strawberry soda mix over the side of the boat. I figured at least she didn't throw the container, oh well the birds will eat it. I went back to cleaning. My niece and nephew started laughing and giggling. I asked what was so funny, and they said the goldfish. I looked up to see a freaking carp feeding frenzy going on. They were tearing the frosted flakes up. So I grabbed the other half eaten thing of cereal. Dumped a little bit into the other empty container, and added some strawberry soda. Made it into a dry dough of sorts. Formed a blob on a hook , lightly flipped it out into the water. And two seconds later ............zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..... 20 lb buffalo carp lmao. Baited it up again and handed the rod to my nephew. He tossed it out, two seconds later.....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.... I had to grab him by the waist of his shorts to keep him in the boat His was about 22-23 lbs. My little niece wanted to catch her a big goldfish for her aquarium I was scared to bait her rod, these things were freaking huge. We had enough of the mixture that day to catch 6-7 more fish. My niece finally caught her big goldfish I took the belt from a life jacket and made a seatbelt for one of the seats. I stood beside her on my knees helping hold the rod up in the air, and only up in the air because " I'm is a big girl, and they don't need no help" lmao. Took about 10 minutes or so. It was pushing every bit of thirty pounds and 36". She decided since the fish was so big. It would have to sleep in her bottom bed ( she has a trundle bed, and she would have to fill up her room with water and couldn't leave. She didn't like that idea, so we through it back Funny. I have read strawberry soda and strawberry syrup as additives in mixing up doughs today at least twice. Wheaties was the grain, but others as well. Hot chili peppers and corn were the other two ingredients that seemed to be across the board as well. I like yours though as those two things can stay on the boat 24/7 without rotting
  16. It is going to cost you way more than just buying a driver and considering that you aren't modelling or measuring the response your results will be questionable in comparison to buying a pre-designed driver.

Saw all sorts of carp yesterday, including some real whoppers. I have never fished for them, but think that I have some serious honey holes for them so will start. I did snag fish one yesterday...
  18. And please the next time you post actually type coherent sentences.

Trying to pitch left handed is impossible too, the other thing I don't understand is why there are so many people who do left retrieve on spinning but right on baitcasting. WTF?? I have seen that too. All my reels are setup for left hand retrieve. Probably why none of my friends ever like to use my tackle I converted half of my friends.

good luck! thanks! Pretty exciting. Congrats, where abouts? MapleHOOD. It's a better part. One block off 36 and edgerton. A .5 lot, 3-4 big healthy oaks in the front 2 man made poinds, 3 car 2200 square feet. It's small for me the soon to be wifey, and 2 roomies, but they will pay the MTG while I spend that money on an addition. There is a great option for an apartment above the garage stalls, gass already runs out there, and it's in amazingly mint condition.... Pluss 2 full size billiards tables in the basement man cave. Cool. I thought you were looking W and not E, but it sounds nice either way.
  22. Home theater sub tuned to 35hz, ROFL.
  23. I don't expect the product quality to change, just the delivery times have been frustrating to say the least. The 8" XLS would be fine too, but those are out of production so you'd have to find them used.

I tried to show my neighbor how to fish his spook Saturday with his right hand retrieve baitcaster and found it easier to reel sideways with my lefthand backwards than to do it with my right. Getting it to walk was easy, getting it to retrieve in between steps was nearly impossible. I felt retarded.
  25. ///M5 replied to mrray13's topic in Off Topic
Yep. I don't believe in passing my rod from hand to hand so that I can reel. I cast with my right and reel with my left. I fish the same way, I'm right handed but fish left handed. I feel I can set the hook stronger with my right arm as opposed to my left. Reeling is definitely the part I want my less trained arm on. The only time when this wouldn't be the case is for fishing for fast things like Muskie as if they take the bait and run towards the boat you need to take up line fast, but that isn't anywhere near a strong enough argument for me to use a right hand retrieve reel ever. Hell I actually can't use one, it turns me into a huge noob.
