This^^^ ... I've never been on pre-order with either SSA or Fi in my times since back on '09... Now wait times yes and def longer is there are specials or high demand but honestly only time I really see the longest is when these companies are upgrading/updating their driver specs just my $00.01

very nice looking equipment ideas.... def look at single vs dual but honestly if you have the room and money for it just make sure you put that bass knob in a good spot

this is how I feel... I look at it in a way of what is pleasing to me visually. I'm not a pro nor do I claim to know much but if I follow my eye usually I can get some pretty great shots. What I do find to be stinky for my taste is the loss of close focus ... but I don't like getting a specific purpose lens like a macro. So I work with what I have and go from there

only reason I'm asking is you brought up upgrading the amp but its a valid point to make sure you're getting good voltage to current amp and also to maybe see if adjusting gain might help a bit with your setup.

do you know how your voltage is now when your pushing on the sub hard with music?

that's fine but just your opinion is what it is. The OP can try other simpler things without spending a huge amount on a amp and possibly needing more electrical to support this new amp properly. Just think about it.... you go in thinking just add a bigger amp. Come back to forum stating no real difference or you're not getting the difference in loudness you expected. Then suggestions to monitor voltage and possibly now you need to upgrade alt/batteries when you already didn't have the space/money in the first place. Trying to help with what someone already owns may be the best first option, don't you think? Logically speaking you have a problem and now you're throwing money at it hoping it helps?

Is your sub ported? if so what are you tuned to? maybe increasing the tuning may increase the perceived loudness... possibly.. But I wouldn't go by what that youtube person said as comparing apples to oranges won't be useful. DO NOT get a new amp you might not see the full 2200w depending on your electrical and the fact you don't get 2200w constant anyway unless you're doing notes. Give us more details. Photos of setup. Box type/size/measurements Port size/length/tuning

I'll be fine with my desktop... upgrades every couple years and I'm still ahead. Due for a real upgrade maybe later this year.. big maybe

you're either going to spend money on many batteries which take up alot of room and weight more or look into alternator. my suggestion which is the common one is usually to get the biggest AGM battery you can up front under the hood and upgrade wiring to 1/0 or bigger

are you trolling again? lol So how much experience have you had with SSA drivers? (hands on) I only ask because your judgement might be completely biased. Seeing as how many of us members here and other audio sites have had experiences with both I'm sure you can find out quite the opposite of that statement. I for one would but my Xcon against a w7 any day of the week. But in all honesty if your install is perfect then the equipment is up to preference at that point... Shame on you man! lol (waiting to see who else chimes in now)
