SCORE !

Just won an Addco front swaybar for the Jeep, half the price of new and it's new. Now I only need the rear sway bar to complete the suspension :)

Congrats, I had them on the explorer. :)

What you said about the explorer's suspension is always in the back of my head when I think about suspension changes. I have softer, oval bushings in the control arms, loads less vibrations transferred to the body. Trying to get a balance between rough road comfort and on-road stability. It is a box on 2 sticks after all though so I won't ask much...

Which part of what I said?

IIRC at some point you said that the Explorer ended up with a too firm ride from poly bushings and other upgrades. And that makes me think "keep it simple" :)

That is because it was the combination of shocks, springs, mounts, sway bars, bushings and steering stabilizer.

Here is the aforementioned sway bars going on some many years ago:

Sean, I know you've done the research; are there any quality gas grills with infrared that are ~1000 or less? Doesn't need side burners or rotisserie or anything fancy like that.

so has anyone got a Fi SP4 yet??? im just curuios what those bad boys can do

They can only do what the idiot behind the volume knob tells them to.

yeah i hear that lol i just was just seeing if someone might have had one and seen what they thought about it

Those pictures look like "See, I do stuff on the car!" :P

Aaron are you fingering the exhaust pipe of that poor exploder?

Anyone know what might cause a clutch to squeak upon release? It seems to only occur after it's rained. Release bearing maybe?

Anyone know good home remedies for athletes foot?

like the pedal sqeaking when you release it? or the actual clutch squeaking?

Jared,

Have you used the "EB General Purpose Polyester Resin" from uscomp, or 435 Standard Polyester Layup Resin?

Gelcoat and styrene?

I know Audibel Customs told me some of the stuff he uses a while back, time to search through posts and pms.

I have not personally used any of these products. But the general consensus is the resin made for marine use is not as brittle, and has a little give if thats what you are concerned about. As far as the fiberglass, use the woven cloth and do it with one piece when possible as AC guy said. I also recommend the "gold bondo" if possible, but no neccesary. I know AC dude does this for a living but I honestly thing he is over thinking it. Use the resin and bondo you can find locally and go for it.

This is my favorite quote for the AC guy in your link " ...And it's not about craftmanship. A trained monkey can do it. it is all about the proper tools and the proper knowlede."

I SOOOO disagree, Its all about craftmanship and having a plan before starting. KNOW your control points, only worry about your control points, and don't fiddle fuck with the plan out of inpatience. ONLY worry about your control points.

Next is a quote from you "...Yeah I soaked the cloth in resin, then cut strips of fiberglass mat and placed them everywhere, then dabbed them with a brush til they soaked the resin, then waited about 15 minutes and did another layer of mat and resin."

I suggest having your single piece of woven cloth cut roughly to size(always alittle big), then resin the pod first, lay the woven mat on the pod, then finish by brushing more resin over the woven cloth. DO NOT do another layer of woven cloth or resin until first resin is dry.

I used two pieces on each pod and just delt with the minor little seam via bondo.

My dash pods in there too. :D These where my last pods I built for the 10"s. I have a different setup now with the 12"s. I just need to sell these one's to someone wanting 10"s in their Honda.

Believe it or not other ppl have researched the matter also. Why would you only want one person"s opinion? :ughdunno:

Anyone know good home remedies for athletes foot?

my friend had athletes foot and he went to the doc to get it taken care of...cause all the stuff over the counter didnt really work...and one of the guys he works with told him ''to pee on his foot in the morning when your taking a shower''...my friend told me what he said and i kinda laughed...but from what he said it worked

so has anyone got a Fi SP4 yet??? im just curuios what those bad boys can do

We as americans are very close minded, alot of natural cures out there. We are just to conditioned to think ONLY a dr could possibly solve a health problem.:suicide-santa:
