Galaxy3 is cool. Much more refined than my sensation.

As long as you are not on Verizon I approve. Damn Verizon locked down the boot loader and is the only one to do so. The S3 is an amazing phone but I could not stand touchwiz.

It is much better than before and the email is by far the best. Especially when you have multiple accounts to monitor

So I realized that yesterday I went to Chickfila for the first time in a long time and really the only reason I went is because all of the bad publicity they have been getting made me think to go there.

They had hand outs about how being gay is a disease las time I remember. I did know what it was whenI walked in.

I'm glad their right to be A Holes is protected however.

You supported the religious crazies. Any company that closes a day during the week, every week, due to their religion is one I usually avoid.

Do you remember the post I made about taking Arthur to a birthday party there, and they were looping religious statements between kiddie music in the play room? Holy fuck no.

I don't remember that Aaron. I do agree though. I won't support it.

But like anything else, people should be allowed to be fucktards.

I agree, but push anything on my son, there is a viscous and scary side I don't want to come out.

Ladies are up 4-2 after being down 2-0.

??? I have never seen anything that pushes religion there, but I have never played in the play area. Outside of that I've never seen anything else there like that before.

For the most part I support companies that provide a service or product that I enjoy. I do not believe in much of the Indian culture but that won't stop me from eating at their restaurant. And if they want to be closed on certain days that is fine.

What is confusing to me is the mayor of Boston is trying to stop them from opening a restaurant there. Is that not discrimination in its own right? Chikfila is being restricted form doing something based on what they believe.

Yup. Indeed.

And saying what they want is different from forcing it down throats of kids.

.....it must have changed. It was pushed HARD there. And really discriminatory. I don't know about Boston.... but they have no right to stop the chain, but I wouldnt support them with dollars in anyway.

The difference between your Indian restaurant and chick is massive. The beliefs of the proprietors are not forced into your face at one... and at the other, every trip I had it was. YMMV

And I'm not saying you should go, but I am saying to me, the ignorant thinking forced on others is just a step too far. Feel anything you want.... jus don't force your feelings on others.

Its like 150db truck bumping down my street. Don't force me hear your shit. Ssince I think chick is shit I just won't go.

Chick-fil-a is not forcing anything on anyone. You CHOOSE to eat in their facility. You CHOOSE to go in there and listen to their music or ideal or whatever. You can CHOOSE not to go there or simply ignore it while there. It's pretty simple logic.

That is what I said. They push it on you in their restaurant, so I don't go.

And in truth they support groups who push it elsewhere and act in bad taste publicly. That isn't the point though

As I said. If I don't want to hear rap music I won't go to a rap concert, if I don want to hear about racial violence I won't go to a skin head or Klan meeting, and since every time I have been in a chickfil they pushed their beliefs on me, I won't go there.

And it's not what I would call a gentle protest. A gay fellow I know was harassed pretty badly in there. He unfortunately didn't know what it was all about before he walked in.

Oh well. Again, I'm in support that they can say anything they want. It's part of what makes US strong here. I just know outright bigotry when I see it and won't support it.

I won't even support a cause or group that I generally believe in if they cannot hear the opposition and encourage discussion and objective thinking.

Something else is I never really donate money. It rarely goes to the actual cause. I do work and donate directly to people in need, environment, churches, those in need etc etc. I just will not write over money blindly. The things about organization s that do good I get personally involved in.

Well Aaron and Matt2, I'm sorry y'all have went through that and felt pushed. I'm still baffled because I've never been to a Chickfila (and I've been to ones on other states) that even hinted religious views other than the "closed on Sunday".

Apparently the Boy Scouts have a ban on openly gay members. gayhaaay1.gif

It's ok Mike. Each one is different. Does yours not have the brochures at it?

Not that a flier is pushy, but the one I was at talked about going to hell if you don't convert and if you can not stop gay disease etc.

Could easily be territorial. The population in the Dc/Baltimore/Philadelphia corridor of where I am usually in, is somewhat different from the majority of Texas that I have seen.

The worst time I heard about a buddy was in Orlando of all places.

It's more about how crazy the manager and locals to any chain place is.

If the HTC one s or x is like this thing it would be an amazing phone.

Whatever t Mobil had didn't have as big of a screen and no SD card slot or battery that you can remove.

On a side note, I have insurance on my old phone so I will be getting a brand new replacement for it. If someone in the hop wants an amazing deal on an amazing phone you guys get first dibs.

I'm going to CL it if no friends want one. Recoup some of the cost of this beast.

que?

Found a tortoise today, time to see how long he'll stay in the backyard before he burrows under the walls.
