Dinner for 2 has never hit 300.

Bar tabs...... Completely different story.

My most impressive was a $670ish for 5 people after a funeral. It was at a place called the red dragon. All I can say is for most 25 bucks will get most people near stumbling drunk there if you have their big drinks.

I had some 6-7 wonderous punches or zombies that night... It was a tough day.

My record is 11. Somehow I did not get sick I could walk fine and I stayed aware of all my surroundings.

I should have taken a photo this morning when I went outside. My car was the only one in the lot that did not need to have the window scraped.

We ate from 2:00 to 7pm. Not including the caviar and Dom Perignon which we had around 1

That was smart and it is a truely impressive menu. I consider myself experienced as an eater and there are a few things I have never tried on that list.

Nice Christmas menu Sean. Sounds like a meal fit for an awesome family day.

I wanted to do something special for my great Aunt as it is probably her last Christmas. She raised me for a while when my mother was recovering from cancer and thought something over the top was in order.

I am just worried about possibility of rust lol

J

I wouldn't worry about it to much. I would be amazed if they rusted through in the lifetime of the car.

Agreed but it seems like every site I looked at today has been swearing that header wrap is the worst thing since Cancer.

J

I used it on my LTs on my Cobra and never had any issues. They're still on there too, although they were SS so that helps. I wouldn't worry about rust.

I am sorry for the lack of knowledge but what do you mean by LTs and SS?

J

Long Tubes and Stainless Steel.

I am not 110% sure of the material mine are made of. I thought about having them jet-hot treated.

J

You will quickly get to the law of diminishing returns in that car.

Just trying to control under the hood heat. Hopefully prevent more melted wires too. If it looks good while its serving its main purpose then I am all for it.

J

You misunderstood. Spending a bunch of money on that car is sort of like spending it on dinner. It's good while you have it, but it's gone.

I understand the bird is pretty much a money pit at this point. Got it. I just want the most enjoyment out of it while it runs. I over paid for the car, and parts aren't always cheap. On the same token, it was exactly what I was looking for but over what I should of spent nonetheless.

A set of LT steel headers for that car can't be much more than what, 150$? I haven't looked at header prices in ~8 years, but last time I looked regular steel ones were cheap. If they are cheap, wrap 'em and be done, if they rot out in 5 years and you still have the car, throw another set on. Or get 'em powdercoated then wrap them. I've got some header powder coat I use for ovens here that is supposed to be good to 1000*F

I know the headers I have now are (well were originally) chrome Edelbrock headers. The chrome has gotten a bit discolored due to heat. These damn cars run pretty damn hot.

I like ryans way of thinking as far as wrap them and forget about them. As far as wires melting you either need to reroute them or sleeve them.

My sister probably has 4 hours worth of dish cleaning into it. Lol.

She needed something to do too, right?
