December 10, 200915 yr I need a 1 amp solution and these specs would be great if true....https://www.audiosav...7193f8bb.r.aspxare they or not? if not then what is the real watts rms?I dont see why not. US Amps are sold in the SSA shop and I havent heard any bad things about them. I think the rms wattage is at 14.4 volts though.
December 10, 200915 yr US Amps is a reputable company so I dont see why not, I know US Amps had great amps in the past but havent dealt with anything lately. The best thing to do is just get the amp and give a review on it.
December 10, 200915 yr Author I have owned many of the old ones and they are top notch but I dont know anything about these ...and I prefer not to spend $300+ and give up my nice ADS amp only to test it out...and find out they are bs.......thats why I came here to the US AMPS section.......I thought I pm'd flaco already

December 10, 200915 yr Nothing against US amps, but the way the description was written (the way the paragraphs in blue were worded), kinda pissed me off. It didn't seem very professional to me.A 5ch amp is a cool idea though. Small but mighty.
December 11, 200915 yr I wouldn't believe the specs on that website.Looking @ US Amps website, they rate the amplifier at 75w x 4 @ 4ohm and 90w x 4 @ 2ohm (2ohm rating is the same on the audiosavings website), which would correlate to only 180w x 2 @ 4ohm bridged.....not 500w.US Amps website states 500w x 1 @ 1ohm bridged, but I would presume they were meaning the sub channel is 500w @ 1ohm and not that the main channels were 500w RMS when bridged. The Memphis 16-MC5.1400 has more power capabilities, assuming I'm correct, if that's what you're looking for.
December 11, 200915 yr Author thanks....I think the Memphis is out of my budget....and yes the specs arent clear on the 5600 so I am trying to get 4ohm ratings or real world power......more power the better...
December 11, 200915 yr You could also think about the Zed leviathan 150X6 @ 4 ohms but that might be a little out of your budget also.
December 11, 200915 yr Admin That is such a low price I would start to question it. We (SSA Store) have not sold very many US Amps amplifiers over the past couple of years because of wholesalers like this destroying the value of the product through this ever growing gray market.
December 11, 200915 yr thanks....I think the Memphis is out of my budget....and yes the specs arent clear on the 5600 so I am trying to get 4ohm ratings or real world power......more power the better...The specs appear to be 75w x 4 or 180w x 2 @ 4ohm.
