came in yesterday, got her in and play with her for a lil while. figure i'd post some pics, know yall have seen em many times.

i havent had very many quality subs, so my review is pretty much worthless, but here goes. my last sub was an acoustic elegance c15.1, an old av clone, so thats all i have to compare this to, and this was a drop in replacement for that. first off, it looks gorgeous. got her in and wow, she sounds pretty good, not quite as musical as the ae, but not too much different. the ae sub kinda struggled with the higher bass notes being that my box is tuned low, but this sundown sub really pwns the ae in that respect. i put in richboy - go crazy screwed(ill up it if yall want me too), it has a 51hz bass note in it, and mf'er made my stablizer system engage, lol :trippy: . the z15 doesnt get as loud at the low stuff as the ae, but it does get down there with some authority. all in all, im very happy with it. thank you sundown for a great sub. i am now a fan. :woot:

Thats a nice score dude. Seems like the enclosure is a little large though and you are running right on the edge, tuning wise. The lower notes arent going to be very loud anyway. Its the higher notes that peak your hearing.

thx man. yea i know im right on the edge with the box. im a low note junkie and listen to my music slowed (even rock and country) thats why i have tuned low. could always throw some blocks of wood in there to shrink the air space and raise tuning, but im happy with it so far. :drink40: toast
