To help with my voltage drops, I added another ground from my battery's negative terminal to the car's chassis so I ended up with two negtiave runs (just a heads up since it may help in your case as well).

Yea if the power from the alternator to the batt dosent help i will probably end up getting a kinetik hc1400 as my starting and audio batt. Unless someone tells me otherwise????

What battery do you currently have in there and what amps will you be installing? How many amps is your factory alternator?

Stock subaru battery, Just one mrp-m1000 might add a 4ch like mrp-f300 later on. And my stock alternator is 75amps :suicide-santa:

If you dont plan on getting a better alternator I do suggest on getting a better starting battery, I would check out XS Power battery on this forum and see what battery fits your location (can be used as a starting battery and have some juice to power your system):

I Have a XXXXXXX watt sytem. What battery do I need? - SSA Car Audio Forum

It just seems like your stock electrical is just not enough to run that system and the cars normal duties too.

hows this sound for a battery.... 400cca/500ca, 140min reserve cap at 20a, 80ah for 69.95 its an exide NG24 deep cycle. And im thinking of selling my SSD12 to my cuz and getting a BL12 now that i have a bigger amp. I wasent planing on getting a bigger amp, but now that i have it i might get one.

So are we going to see some pics of the install?

That is a killer job you did on that enclosure! The paint is pretty fly too. :drink40:

kind of wierd, it can hold 20 amps for 140 minutes(=2.33 hours.)

2.33hours x 20amps=46.6ah, and not 80, but yea for such a price it's a steal.

I like the car and the whole build.

It's a well build enclosure and looks really nice.

The SSD is doing well. sounds great. I think that im going to upgrade to a Q 12 and throw it in the same box. Im hoping for harder hits from the bass drum, and it will handle the amp better than the SSD is. What do you guys think?

I haven't heard either sub, but I do think the Q would be a little step up. If you do upgrade be sure to do a comparision on the two subs please.popcorn.gif
