I'm waiting on the UPS man to bring me my Fosgate T-1500. On their site, in the custom shop section, they have this badass paint job on one...

As far as I can tell though, they're not even selling them. I emailed one place I found online for a quote, and they told me that they could do something similar for $300-600, depending on how many images and how much detail.

I was wondering if anyone on here knows of anybody that does any airbrush work that might be a little cheaper. I'd like to go ahead and get it done while I'm waiting on my BTL 18 to get here.

No I dont but I always think those look bad ass when they are air brushed plus that is a sick design on that amplifier right there

If he's done work for SEMA, I'd say he's also over my budget. Being out of area isn't really a big deal, I wouldn't care to ship it.

I don't think you could paint subs, I would think it would wear off very quickly, unless they were for display only.

I just got an air brush, but unfortunetly haven't had time to learn. I do tatts for a living so IT shouldn't take long ONCE I have time.

My Idea is maybe you could get a decal made/printed and apply that yourself. Otherwise just keep asking around, exspecally people who already have airbrushing. I imagine that industry is alot like mine and based on word of mouth. I wish I could help more but haven't had the time to practice with mine yet.

I don't see why not, I mean airbrush layers tend to be pretty thin. Make it even more resilient if you hit it with some sealer.

what about wrap?

Well, you think you could maybe show him the picture and ask him for an estimate? I'd appreciate it man. The UPS man JUST NOW brought my amp, it's awesome! On the birth sheet it says it does 1796 watts at 1 ohm. I can't wait till my BTL gets here and I get this shit hooked up.

Yeah man, it's a Fosgate T1500-1bd. The dimensions are 8.14 x 14.91 (in), but the outside part wouldn't need to be painted, as is the picture.
