Posted May 9, 201015 yr im considering 2 SA-12's sealed 1.5 each off a sae-1200d. This sub work well sealed? Im curious about xmax specs on them.They seem VERY well built which is one of the reasons they are a top choice atm

May 9, 201015 yr Most people run them ported but they are designed also to work great sealed.Linear x-max is ~19mm one way.

May 11, 201015 yr I run (2) of the SA-12's with a 1500D and I have nothing but praise for what Jacob has designed. My enclosure is ported but I can't imagine the difference being that drastic so I would definitely go with the SA-12's
