I've destroyed these... On one the motor broke off from the basket, so I'm looking at getting 14-18 re-cones or so...thanks jacob. I think that was the name. The bass is getting to me.

i have been trying to get 2 recone kits.. jacob gave me the email address for the guy that has the recones... he said he only has 2 of them.. i asked him to sell them to me and he never emailed me back

Well that sucks... have you looked around for any other cones for other 8" subs possibly fitting these motors?

That appears to be the problem.

Fi or Incriminator should have parts that you can use. Of course, they probably won't be E8 parts, but at least you can find something that will fit.

if you would bro lemme know what you find out... i hate having these subs as paper weights... my chick blew them in 24 hours tryin to be cool.

I am pretty sure E8 v.2 parts are compatible... will check when they come in. If you save them until the v.2 is available and buy a basket and parts you can re-build them. The v.2 spider is wider so the frame must be changed too... they are stamped so don't cost much,

You can try reconing 4 and wait for 4. That way you konow which ones sound better you know......

I have 16 motors, and I cant even get 4 v.1's so far.
