Posted August 5, 201015 yr IF it wheren't my job. Hehe. Anyways, heres some pics of me tattooing a dogs eye lid. Why you may ask? Well the procedure is more common on horses. What happens is the animal is born without pigment in the skin around its eye, and the pink skin with no fur on it will continually sun burn. Causing the animal constant sunburn/scabbing and eventually skin cancer. The only fix other than keeping the animal inside is to tattoo black into the skin. This was preformed at a veterinary clinic, with the dog sedated.I love my job!!
August 5, 201015 yr Seen some strange shit, but this is a first. Would that pay more then a tat on a human? I would think so, people are crazy about pets. If not, you should x's 10 the price, I bet cost would not matter to someone serious about getting this done to a pooch.I saw on TV where a guy had the whites of his eyes blackened, ever done anything like that? Looked crazy.
August 5, 201015 yr Author The Vets office charged the owner like 400-500 dollars for the whole procedure. I was payed through the shop I work for. I think I was payed my regular wage. We do this procedure on horses more offen, as I live in the Aspen valley where all the rich fuks have horse ranches.I do tattoos all over the body, BUT I have no intrest in injecting ink into someones eye ball with a hypodemic needle.
August 5, 201015 yr WOW! I had no idea that was a practice anyone ever had done to any animal. It's cool to be able and help the animals like that though
August 5, 201015 yr Author Wow, good to see you helping out the pup. You know I love dogs Arron. I would of done it for free. The lady brought the dog to me a few weeks earlier and asked me IF I could do the procedure without the Vet? I said NO WAY, hard enough tattooing peoples eye lids.

August 5, 201015 yr My gf had her cat tattooed with the female symbol, but that's a pretty common procedure nowadays to let people know that their pet has already been spayed/neutered in case it gets lost and another person finds it and doesn't try to get them fixed again.
