Posted September 23, 201014 yr I'm thinking about using one of these babies for my next setup but im a little confused about the power ratings...in the two reviews here:http://www.zedaudiocorp.com/Products/leviathan.htmlthe reviewers say it's rated 500w @ 4ohms 2 channels bridged and tested likewisehere its says 600w:http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/store/products/ZED-Audio-Leviathan.htmli would like to run my 2 sundown subs at 300/per but im not sure if i should go with 1 or 2 due to power ratings.edit: subs are the SD-1 v2's rated at 400w
September 23, 201014 yr Admin I spoke directly with Stephen, and I am considering running a Leviathan in Tri-mono. It is ratted for 3 x 300 @ 4, but he says it safely does 3 x 550.

September 24, 201014 yr Author There is a typo some where, go with what I relayed to you from ZED. Ok thanks I believe those specs are on the pdf manual as well.

OK so I plan on wiring a DCON 12D4 so that the Leviathan sees a 8 ohm load (bridged). This means that the sub will get 300w continuous right? ... or will the Leviathan actually put out a different number?
September 27, 201014 yr Admin Yes, I think we should start the topic over. I think I made a typo along the way. The manual states 300 x 3 @ 8 ohm. So if you ran the Dcon @ 8 ohm off channels 5/6 bridged, it should be doing 300 watts. Chances are, with a ZED built amp, it has the ability to do more power.
