November 18, 201014 yr Power supply failure. Until you disconnect the power, it will burn and burn and burn. Had something similar happen to me once. No bass all of the sudden, saw smoke coming out and I was lucky the amp had power plugs. Pulled out the plugs, no more fire. One of my amps blew 2 output caps once, big flames, left some marks on the back of the seat but continued to play....Now I always keep some big-arse wire cutters and at least one of the power wires accessible.
