Hi I am new to the audio world and i am needing a little help.I have a 03 neon and I have a orion 25001 mono amp and i am wondering what i have to do to run the amp safely.

the amp would be ran at 1ohm and I have a 4ch amp running mids and highs.

You did not say what you are using for power wire right now or if the 4 channel amp is already installed, but the Orion 25001 uses 1/0 inputs for power and ground so you will probly need a run of 1/0 from bat to amp with a 250amp fuse within 6-8" from the bat. and a 1/0 wire for your ground. That should get you started. Good Luck and maybe start a build log to show pics of what you are doing and through that thread you can get more info as you move along. :WELCOME:

Might want to find out if the srt4 150 amp alt is a direct replacement for your stock alt as your going to need more than that stock alt can provide, make sure and do the big 3 in 1/0 and even get a second battery in the trunk to give some capacity to the system for a mono amp that large.

You need an electrical system for it, it takes power to make power.
