These are due in about 4-5 weeks from today.

Neo-Pro 8 - 100 watts RMS / 8 ohms *

Neo-Pro 10 - 200 watts RMS / 8 ohms *

* Assuming proper crossover frequency for your application; typically 80 Hz or so but perhaps higher or lower depending on the power and size of door.

Frequency response is good to ~5000 Hz on these -- they are a high Qts design for IB door installations in a car audio environment.

Will the final product have the Sundown logo on these?

Any T/S parameters available yet for these? Looking good so far Jacob :attempt:

where can I find speakergrilles that would fit these ?

I am using these on my 10's, work great.

8"

10"

T/S parameters?

Just searched the other thread and didn't see it posted anywhere.

Yeah, I have been waiting on those too.

I'm going to post T/S specs *after* we get some more reviews up on them. I've mentioned a few times we have a higher Qts and lower sensitivity than is typical with this type driver in order to work the best for mid-bass IB in a car door.

As for enclosure design purposes -- these are IB drivers. No need to use the T/S to model them :)

Generic ones should work -- I'll buy some and check when they arrive.

I may produce some at a later date as well.

yes, quite right

But would the graph of response ;)

No Offense Jake, but why did you have to make em ugly.

I know its cause of your face but dag. Lol.

Sike. You could of made of em a tad purdier for those of us who like that kind of stuff.(Purdy)

Nah - ugly is loud ;)

Honestly I couldn't care less about the subjective reviews that will be posted. Far more interested in the T/S parameters and other objective measurements you have, such as an FR graph ;)

How long is the presale going to be open for?

My sentiments exactly. I have been waiting for these for a while, but I can not justify pulling the trigger without some data.

I'll get a better FR graph when they come in from a professional measurement company -- the one from the factory was done on an improper baffle size so has some jaggedness not actually present on the bottom end. Both drivers extend up to ~5k or so, though.

Since the internet holds information forever I think it not wise to post up an imperfect graph.

yes, you're right

since we know the efficiency/sensibility?

I am considering having a second line of these with the typical ultra high sensitivity for the numbers junkies out there that do not want any mid-bass output -- these have a much lower sensitivity and MUCH more mid-bass in IB than a typical PA type driver.

ok perfect, expect all the news ;)

ps: is planned, the production of compression tweeter to fill the frequencies over 5000Hz?

It makes sense to not care how a speaker sounds in actuality rather than how the paper says it sounds.

so what is the weight of these drivers?

Until they arrive -- which is ~4 weeks

Would love to see a graph and T/S as well. Might give these a try to see how they compare to my X69s.

Sexy little 10's keep them in mind!
