I want to buy two 18" ZCONS but don't know how good they are.

Can anyone tell me how good they are? I know their brand new but does anyone know anyone that has had experience with them because I dont like to be the first to give a review on things.

Is is mostly SQ or SPL?

Im not doing this for competition its just daily driver with extra bump! thanks :thinkingboobs:

There are a couple of installs with them in already. I think I can safely say the reviews/feedback, have been nothing short of glowing.

I doubt that you would be disappointed. Not too many people have first hand experience with them yet though. If it were me I wouldn't think twice about getting them.

Just gonna ask, what do you plan on running them with? (Amp wise) and go to youtube if you would like to see some Vids of them. I will be doing 2 18"s on 2 saz3ks.

You would have to buy one used as they are discontinued

Ye I'm reallyyy thinking about buying these and yes they would go into my 300 and yes, there shall be a wall :). The 4500 is discontinued? But i see it in the ssa store?

Do it!! And make a build log. Are you new to car audio?

And hmm...maybe they got a few left. But I do know they are no longer being made.

Tuffguy40 kills it in the lanes, check his vids out.

Sir-Lancelot's Yukon, he is a member here on SSA, his videos are posted by ford302redneck, so much flex.

I have heard no complaints and they look beast!

Electrically I have to do some upgrades so after that gets done I'll buy these, and my mistake i saw the SA 2500 not 4500. I'm not too new I've been doing car audio for almost 3 years now

Are you going to wall off that 300c? :D

ZCONS = :dancing: I have 2 in my astro and when I was first tuned to 36hz in my box I did a 156.7 at 28hz and they sound AMAZING!!!!!!!!

I would recommend the wall for sure tune it to 33hz IMO. Also dont exclude STETSOM! they are very fairly priced and sound amazing!

I am currently running a stetsom5k2e at 2 ohms! its not for sale but for the right price it might be LOL I am thinking about running 4 and would need to buy a new amp! PM ME if interested in the amp do not respond on here as this is not a for sale thread I was just informing you! also you might want to check the store again that 4500 is not there oh and SSA FTMFW

haha damn marcus you been on this forum for two minutes and youre ready to buy zcons! haha but like i told you its based on what your goal is if you would like them or not. if im not mistaken these zcons are like half sq half spl so theres large amounts of power mixed with great sounding bass. id get em if i were you haha even tho not too long ago i was gona get one :peepwall:

Haha yeah man I guess I'll go for these over the RE audios because them puckers are overpriced!

Nah I would get the 18s but I see. Yeah but I need new batteries, alt, And wires. My wires currently were the cheap 0 gauge that's more like 4 gauge so I need to upgrade those and the alt really should be upgraded

oh aight. damn man icant believe you're actually gonna do this lol. i want in on the build! :fing34:

Do it!

:morepower1:

Excellent subs!!

Will take a shit ton of power if your smart about it and sound damn great!

Thanks man! I'll have my build log on soon! :)

I've heard Marks last vehicle with the prototypes and Big Wills zcon setup.

Both were extremely loud, and I didn't notice any lack of sq. At a certain point (in terms of loudness, dB level) everything distorts to the human ear and so forth.

But both vehicles could have set the subwoofer very low and blended very well with the front stage. Then turn it up for excessive bass and start ripping body panels apart.

So I know if I was in the market for new drivers, zcons would be my first choice.
