From what I heard, he was far ahead of his competition and could have easily won his class, but the recones failed him and he took 2nd and 3rd for the two classes he was in. We feel very horrible that

Awesome! Congrats! What got you over the hump?

Well I didn't do anything different. I know it had this score in there somewhere. The problem is its soooo unpredictable. My scores fluctuate so bad its not funny. I know it sounds louder than normal sometimes. It just never happens when I'm on the meter.

Finals should be interesting. I'm expecting a full teardown in the lanes before my runs. Hopefully we can find the problem.

Congrats Steve!!

So, you recone 1 sub and gain 1.5db.

Recone the other 3 and you'll be metering near 166dbeeez! ;)

i highly doubt the recone had any barring on the result... steve has always thought something was lose or screwy as it is sometimes louder to the ear then other.. i have personally been there when it was loud then suddenly not as loud... then loud again.

You probably would gain more if you reconed all of them, extra stiff suspension at first. But great score man.

I would love to see a drivers side port, it would increase your score a lot I think.

only had 3 recones and I wanted to take a couple to Indy just in case. I may try the driver side port before i sell it.

But ultimately jons right. If I can find the problem in the system I should be a 160+ all the time.

Good luck at finals Steve! and yes, either way this BEAST is LOUD!!!sigh.gif

Me too. I dont mind driving to Indy and meeting new friends. I would just rather do it without the car following me.

Good to hear, man I hope they can isolate where that problem is quickly, and get it fixed for you

congratulations on your placings at world finals usaci 2012,

i know that next year you will be ready to come harder and stronger,

major points for perseverance with your uncontrollable issues,
