Finally got the alt working as they should, charging hard as hell at 15.5v. Didn't get to meter and don't expect much change but on music is hold strong!!! I expect to see a jump in my streetbeat score.

Did I mention I ordered ny recones to D1?

external reglater mounted with zip ties untill permanent fixture. i havnt ran the knob inside yet either. adjustable from 12-20V

My build is going to take a completely different approach now, I was weighing my options.

Steve is a cool dude and is steps before me so why wouldn't I ask?

ALso Steve I'd be VERY careful charging those batteries that high I have seen countless swell from that high of voltage.

to go with an xs power VCM but they are sold out. so i went this route.

Found the problem. Pinched field wire on the big alt. Grounded out. Not sure if the alt is still good or not.
