Curious... also where did you route it to

With my rca cables all the way back to my amp.

I don't use one.

ran the wire the same side as my RCA's and have the knob mounted to the underside of my center console lid.

Under center console to the spot I mounted it.

Mine is mounted under the dash and routed with the RCA's as well. I love that Sundown makes it a remote gain control instead of a remote bass boost control. We rarely ever have the knob turned more than 1/3 of the way up, there's just no need for it unless I'm showing it off. Even then a little over half gets the point across to most people, lol.

I dont use it, I use a level control for the rca (no need to run anymore wire from front to back), amp gain is set, and control is being done on level controller which is mounted (hand reach) under driver side dash next to center console.
