We are in the process of adding head units to the store, and negotiating prices with suppliers at the moment, just wanted to drop a quick line with you guys and find out what if any head unit would you buy from the SSA store?

I will edit this post and keep a running tally of what head units we are all talking about.

Pioneer x2

One question I have is will there be a warranty through SSA for the headunit?

Edited by Fearz

I would expect to see:

Pioneer

Alpine

Kenwood or JVC or something of those likes

It would be cool to offer something exotic, like Nakmichi, but I understand that market is so very small and might be difficult to market/stock.

Pioneer, Alpine, Kenwood

I agree. :fing34:

Nakamichi maybe :ughdunno:

Pioneer, Alpine, Kenwood, and would say eclipse but, I don't think they manufacture those anymore. Not a huge fan of JVC, Dual, Jensen, Sony etc. Just my opinion.

Yessir, of course, this is our main concern taking something like this on. We would be fully warrantied through our suppler.

In most cases of broken head unit, customer will be getting their unit replaced instead of repaired, which is very nice IMO. In some cases units will be getting repaired. We will have all of these details worked out.

Pioneer, alpine, Kenwood. Also, eclipse of possible.

Do you plan on carrying double din also? Or more focused on single?

thought Philips sold all of its car-audio activities to Clarion many years ago ...they started again ?...back in the 80's and early 90's phillips HU's were pretty good ... but I doubt they aim at the same market as back then ...

I also feel it would be a good move to offer something exotic too... besides the obvious

*edit* I googled philips car audio ..doesnt impress me

I don't believe Philips Car Audio is sold in the USA by the looks of it...So that brand is out :peepwall:

Only thing I can't buy in the USA is Head units !!!

In my country your h u won't let me listen to all of the fm radios. Only half of the fm band / frequencies are available !

:ughdunno:

But like everyone, I would say Pioneer, Alpine, Kenwood, Clarion.

Clarion,pioneer,kenwood

Pioneer and Kenwood for my vote, would you also offer IPod cables, wiring and such?

Kenwood, Alpine and Pioneer get my vote also. JVC makes decent budget oriented units too.
