They sound a bit different and tighter than the v.1s and they definitely hit the lows better.

That is correct -- the sound will be a very different type of sound primarily due to lower THD and the increased bottom end.

if you were to use them for mid bass i dont really see a problem bt these lil monsters weight 25lbs a reace it would have to be a beefy door panel and thats not counting that the total unit is around 7.5 inches mounting dept if you would do it i would really like to see it tho

maybe if you customize the shit out of the doors lol but i dont think so but alot of people put them in the front middle console sometimes they remove what ever is there and make a custom box

i do not believe they are made for mid bass at all.

the NEOPRO series is perfect for a bass heads mid bass needs on the other hand.

No one in their right mind would use a 22 pound subwoofer to play midbass. Good grief lol.

Back in the SoundIllusions.net days I recall someone use Brahma 10s as mid-bass
