Posted June 3, 201213 yr Some of you may have seen this on another forum...but I figured I would post this here as well. This is actually a friend of mine's truck, so this was all done at the house "off the clock"....so it took a few days of after hours work to get it going.Product...24 10" Audioque 2.0 dual 4 ohm sub-woofers4 Audioque Pro-Audio 6.5"s4 Audioque Pro-Audio Tweets2 Audioque 3500Ds1 Audioque 120.4All Cadence wires9 C&D batteriesDual DC alternators (300amps each)Here is the truck...The product (some of it)The rough idea....The enclosure....The amp rack.....still working on it...All baffles were done for what the owner wanted to see cosmetically, but came out decently I think.Truck is just stupid loud over all. June 3, 201213 yr Author Looks good but rims are ugly as fuck IMO but nice as always Dustin!Yea, the rims are not my taste. However, it what he likes, so who am I to judge on that. Thanks everyone for the kind words.
June 4, 201213 yr Author Needs a few more tens man. It's funny you mentioned that. His original idea was to use 32 10s lol.
June 4, 201213 yr Post some more pics of the install, please ! Looks loud, but how do you like it ? Sounds good ?Tuned in for moar !
June 4, 201213 yr Author I will see if I can track some down of the actual install, it was done over a wide range of time and I'm not sure how many pics were actually taken. As for the sound, it has a very clean and clear sound. It is pretty loud I guess too..lol I will try and get more pics when I have truck at the house again though.
June 4, 201213 yr Author Here is a horrible picture of when we were testing out the dual alt setup to make sure it was working correctly. I will have to snap a finalized install pic later on though. The only thing that change is some of the wiring I think.
June 7, 201213 yr Author Well, just spoke with the owner. While a truck that looks to be breathing is enough for most...he is contemplating going bigger already.
June 10, 201213 yr Author After some talks it would appear that he wants to jump up to the AQ 2.5 series and do a B pillar wall.So back to the drawing board for another version of a 24 10" enclosure lol.
June 11, 201213 yr Nice install, what does Phat Ba$tard do for a living, thats a lot of equipment lol.
June 11, 201213 yr Author He was involved in a very tragic car accident years ago where he nearly died himself. So the bulk of his funds come from there from what I understand. Edited June 11, 201213 yr by pro-rabbit
June 12, 201213 yr It fucked his brain up, that has to be the ugliest vehicle I've ever seen. Seriously. At least his install will rattle it and maybe correct what went wrong.
June 12, 201213 yr Author While I understand that you do not like the truck, speaking of how he must have sustained an injury of any type is not ok with me at all. Please edit your post to reflect the fact that I do not and will not condone such a verbal disregard for someone's well being. Edited June 12, 201213 yr by pro-rabbit
June 12, 201213 yr Author any TL numbers ??We have not put it on the meter yet. It was not built with numbers in mind though. Just meant to work and sound good daily.
June 16, 201213 yr Author Well, Tony(my friend) stopped by the house today to talk about doing a new setup moving the wall forward and going to the AQ 2.5 instead. He also wanted to show me how the truck currently looks........ with new rims..He tossed on some new 30's
June 16, 201213 yr Author yep, much much better. It was brought up on another forum, the rims do not actually rub. It is just the angle of the picture making it look as close as it does.
