I do not add 45s to an enclosure design unless they are asked for. The gain from 45s is minimal and this being a "daily" system it will not be noticeable.

Just for me, minimal gain or not, it's just easier to do 2 rips with the saw to make a 45. Thought maybe there was a more specific reason.What size round over for the port? Or are you doing by hand?
