Then started to mold his new stereo in... new alpine 8" screen...

 

 

 

 

 

Then for some odd reason we were looking around on top of the roof.....and found this

Wish we could be, I just don't think we will get that roof done in time... we are going to try though.

Got the dash a little further along...more sanding in the future..but it is functional for now.

 

Kind of hard to tell, but the bezel is actually setup so the stereo is flushed into it.

 

Here is the look at the plexi that goes in the roof....had several requests to see what we had up there...well here it is...

 

 

 

And of course...the roof itself...

 

 

 

Don't mind all the fingerprints....it is not all that easy to get it up in there...

 

 

The camera pics up the LEDs them selves, but in person the outer ring just glows a little softer then the FJ does...

 

so hows this thing coming along has it gotten "evil" yet? seen it at his store yesterday but didnt have time to stop n check it out. but looking great so far that dash is sexy.

Thanks...its a work in progress.

Our time line is to have his truck back together (some what) for IFO. Though it wont have evils till over the winter more then likley.. but that may change since we are upping the power a bit with it.

Work will resume on this project later this week and weekend. Looking to have the wall back in and trimmed out by mid next week... Still waiting on the amps to arrive, but they should be here at the end of next week for it.

Little update on the FJ... had some slow progress for many reasons....but here is a little teaser pic...

As for the rims they are 32's and have since been powder coated white to match the truck.

 

As for the bass vs upholstery work... Well it does a 157 on a 30 second average and a burp score of 160.3 before we changed out to this new setup. Everything held up decent but we had to fix a few things with the headliner that have yet to be 100% resolved. Have to do more testing over this coming weekend after the amps get put back in the truck.

It shouod be plaging this weekend. Tony threw us a curveball when he decided tk have the truck stripped...inside and out lol. So the amp rack and baffling we pushed back a week.

Got it halfway done for a show we went to on Sunday. Just had to make it "presentable" so to speak.
