Hello everybody 

         I'm trying figure out what would be  a good spl subwoofer that i can throw in my 2003 chevy tahoe i got 1k saved for subs cant fig out should i go with 4 12's 4 15's OR 2 18's I only got a 48"x48" space because im keeping the rear seats in taking out the tired row only  48x48 i can do 6 12s   or 4 15's maybe 3 18s  If i wanted to.....

 

So the dilemma is what brand i wanting to spend any were from 350-400 per a sub

given you have enough space to give the 15s what they need how is 4 12s vs 4 15s a comparison lol. if you have the pesos do 4 15" icons. :)

I am SO confused. 

 

Are your max dimensions 48"x48" with the third row seats in or out? What about that whole third dimension?

 

I would scratch the BTL idea only because they aren't produced anymore and I think it would be difficult to find that many of them used with the same configurations. 

 

And since the math doesn't add up I'm guessing your budget is flexible?

48x48x22 is how big i can go, yes i got 3 batts and big 3 setup, No amp No alt because i dont have the subs yet ill buy that when i get the subs so i can match them up..... Also what are my goals i want hair flying window flexing BASS

Four 15" SSA GCONs

Bet that would be loud! Wish I had an extra grand floating around.. 4 15" gcons would sound good in MY 2003 Tahoe

the ssa gcon are only 750 watts

what about bigger how are the zcon and the xcon icon or even the new one?

The ssa EVIL is a lot more $. For your budget gcons may be the best option for 4 15's

Ok im looking at the xcon 15 or 18 what one would i be able to hit good LOWS and be able to beat my buddy 2 orion 15 hcc ran off a 3k hifion

Do these subs like  a open box like 48wide 18 tall 28deep

Have you considered zcons? What is it about the xcon that has you interested in them?
