Posted October 16, 201311 yr I have been having trouble trying to understand on how to make a box design, so I was just going to see if anyone here could help me. I know that when some one asks this question they tend to leave out important information when needing help so I'm going to give you all the info I can, and please tell me if I am missing anything. I've tried using Torres Box calc and google sketch up and so far I've had no luck. So any info, input, or any help in general would be greatly appreciated. Thank you guys!
October 16, 201311 yr 17 tall is tough, I have to deal with the same issues in my GM. 16 tall will work, looks like you have enough space for 4-5 cu.

I could make the depth a little longer if needed, the last box I had was rough getting in(almost the same dimensions as stated above), I was able to get the 17" in but I was tight lol.
October 16, 201311 yr it will depend on the depth, I would make it 16 high in order to extend the depth a little more.
October 16, 201311 yr What tuning are you looking for? I am guessing you are looking for a ported design... If I am slow today- Wednesdays usually are- i may can whip up a simple slot box design

I am going to have the sub facing the cabin and port on either side doesn't really matter to me, and I'll be sealing it off as well. Yeah a simple ported design would work, not looking for anything fancy. Thank you sir.

October 25, 201311 yr that looks like a good enclosure. If you could go 4.3-4.5 I would try that first. I would stick with a big port area however. Edited October 25, 201311 yr by cloud77
