March 4, 201411 yr Looks great. I mentioned to Aaron a year ago that you guys needed to make the Dcon in a shallow mount, so don't mind if I take credit for these . Can't wait to see specs and mounting depth measurements.

It's actually funny as it was not planned initially go this direction, but this design yeilded better cooling and more motor force.
March 5, 201411 yr Admin What are the specs and box requirements on these guys? We will have them up soon. Neither will be all too far off from the original Dcon.
March 5, 201411 yr Seriously considering doing 2 of these next season to replace my obsidian 15 v2. more cone area and better space efficiency (for my situation) plus ive always wanted ssa, being made in the usa, and the rave reviews about them

I never knew what the originals were. :/ Just looking to see how close these are to the 2nd Gen X series sub from Fi, since these have a similar motor to those. I loved the 2nd Gen X from Fi.

The outside appearance is close IIRC. Specs for the original model are still up on http://products.soundsolutionsaudio.com

I see, you are rubbing it in now. DO you still have those pics we took? If so that might help people see the mounting depth.
