What would be the best box for a Nissan 350Z, I can't decide whether to go with 2 SA8's or a single X8, I will be powering it with an Arc Audio 2500CXL which puts out a little over 1000 watts.

 

Space first, shopping for subs next.  

How big of a box can you fit?

If I want to keep the box in front of the brace firing towards the back only about 1.25 CF.

That screams for a sealed 12.  Most 10's won't fit in it ported and 8's don't really take up less space than a 10 once you add the extra port length required for the smaller box volume.

Ya i would say run a sealed 12 or 10 depending on your clearance. Throw that whole amp at a nice sub sealed and youll be all set.

So then either a SA10 or 12, or is there another series recommended for that air space and power?
