I'm 80% done with the sound deadner, the trunk deck is next. I didn't do the under side yet because I don't feel like uninstalling the factory subwoofer till it blows or until my new Fi sub gets here.

You've inspired me to run dual mids.  I kinda wanna put some big bass in too, but I'm old AF.

You are never too old, go for it. I never wanted to go this big but I'm not having any regrets right now.

It's crazy how my front stage keeps up with the bass and sounds amazing while doing so.

After installating my new interior panels, I decided to protect them from the elements. I used JB Weld super glue to attach foam pads to the ends of my horn bodies.

I finally got rid of all the rattles from both overhead consoles, bass sounds so much better. Now just tracking down the ones in the trunk since my subs are rear firing now.

Going back to a 15" just something about those Sp4 v2/Neo 4.7s that keep calling me. I'll miss this box for damn sure, it's too bad ass. Then Ill be content, no more chasing numbers. Because I'll be broke with the upgrades I was planning to make, just not worth it in the long run.

Finally found some speaker grills that fit, plus this design almost mimics the Volkswagen symbol.

After talking to XS Power about lithium batteries, my whole wiring will be changing as well as electrical. Both Odyssey AGM Batteries will be sold and replaced with a Titan Lithium Group 48, which will power my whole system along with my HO Alternator. There will be no more batteries in my trunk and when you open it the trunk up, you won't see any more wires just the enclosure. I ordered a longer amp board to hold my new power block and bigger fuse distribution block as well as my Salt-4k amp. I will be doing adding another run of 2/0 wire going from front battery to rear power block. Then three wires coming off the power block, one wire to power up my front stage amp and two wires to power my sub amp. I will sell under hood fuse holder to a friend, move the one from the rear to the front. As I'll be buying a new one with more wire attachments since my electrical is changing and I'm adding more wires.

Here is my power block for the rear area that will mount on amp board.

Nice way to start the new year.  Love the grilles on the mids!

Thanks man, I'm trying to slow down on buying equipment. Starting to save for a house among other things, so I won't to get it nice and right so I can just jam for years to come.

Here is the new amp board, it's 2" thick and will get transformer vibration isolation pads underneath as mounting feet. I will also put similar pads under the amp and this board to protect them amp when I mount it. I've mounted the power block to board so far, I need to order my SMD fuse distribution block soon. So that can be mounted next.

New amp rack is installed, still needs fuse block before it's complete but in due time. I have about .5-1" between sub amp and front stage amp with seats up. I can make more room if I slide the box back some.

I like to fish but didn't know anything really, so I did a lot of research this week. Going to try a jig for the first time with a trailer. Strike King swimming jig with a crawfish trailer.  I love these Salt Mafia hook/lure wraps.

I grew up fishing with my Grandfather.  He was a Bass Pro with hundreds of rods and reels, and countless lures.  I miss that man dearly.

Enjoy yourself.

Thanks man I appreciate, I went a couple times when I was younger and always liked but never had anyone to take or go with. But no more excuses, and submerged myself with YouTube videos and fishing forums to learn tips/techniques/tricks. I been buying stuff left and right, soon I'll start with a new rod then a new reel and I'll be complete.

Still need more small things to fill my tackle bag, but this journey has been fun this far. Took the girlfriend and her son fishing, both their first times and they enjoyed themselves too.
