So I am thinking about purchasing the super tweets and pro 6.5's but am wondering what people are using for crossovers with these? Do you have anything that can be purchased from you to use for this? Not sure I want to go the active crossover route.

Currentlt own a HDS212 with a 750.1. I plan on getting a HDS3 very soon with a 1200.2. Now the problem is idk if u should get another 12 or try a 15. My theory, louder (which I want),capable of hitting more notes, like higher and lower hz's with a 15 compared to my current 12. But I'm trying to plan ahead for future build in my next car (which I hope it'll be an Acura RSX). So I'd like to consider how the HDS312 or 15 will sound in a hatch with good box made for the sub. Any opinions or questions needed answered to help me figure out what I exactly want. Thanks ahead of time!

Hi all, just putting together my first setup to go into a 2007 VW R32. Just ordered a Q1-1200D amp to go with a second hand JL 10W7. I've just finished the box for the sub and i've already got some 14ga OFC speaker wire. Do you think this will be ok or do I need 12ga as recommended by SQ? Sub is rated at 750W RMS. Cheers

Just wondering if the new HS310's would work well in a 4th order application ? i cant seem to find anything about box recommendation etc. and also if they will work in a 4th order application will they work well in .5 seale each im looking at doing 4 10's in a 2:1 ratio 4th in my trunk. Thanks

Hey guys, So I bought a HDS212 D2 and 750.1 little over month ago. Love it but I wanna get louder. So looking for input on how I should spend money. -Do I buy another HDS212 and 750.1 and hook it all up together in a new box -Buy another HDS212 and a new 1200.1 amp plus box? -Get a HDS312 or 15 and 1200.1 and possibly use same box (unless I go with 15" obviously) Also, for electrical, I'd probably have to get a second battery? And I'm still looking towards the big 3 in near future. I have 2 12inch HDC 3.0 and need to know what i should set my AQ 2200 amp to for the settings.

I've heard of this problem before, but can't recall the solution. As soon as I turn the key the bass note starts playing non stop unless I unplug either one of the RCA jacks. Doesn't matter which, then it will function normally. What causes this?

So I just made my purchase for a HDS212 and Q1-750. Wanted to get some input on how to properly tune it. I don't have any meters, dd1s, anything like that, but I may be able to borrow one. Ok, I recently made the jump to buy some new gear to replace my old dual 15" old school Kicker Infuse subs. Mainly due to I needed my trunk back as the box took up the ENTIRE trunk of my 2008 Focus SE. I went ahead trying to budget and got a good deal on a Power Acoustik RZ1-1500D. Its stable at 900RMS at 2ohm which the single sub will be wired up as. Now, I know it states 600 RMS & 1200 watt burst for the HDS woofer. My main concern is, do I run a large risk of blowing the speaker using this amp? Alright guys so this is my first "big" system. I have 2 soundqubed hdc3 15 d2's in a 10 ish cu ft box tuned to 32 hz. I have 2 soundqubed q1-2200 amps. I plan on strapping them. My mids and highs I got on lock so they're not important. I have a 180 amp ho alt by singer alternators. This is the absolute biggest he could make it. 1 xs d5100r under the hood and 2 xs xp3000's in the back. Nothing is installed yet I'm waiting for all my install accessories. Do you think I have enough batteries and is my alternator sufficient enough to handle 500 amps of max current? I'm waiting on my xs charger to come in to install everything because I need to fully charge my batteries. Also…

Here is my input on what I have found to be optimum in sound and overall performance (SPL) for both the HDC3 and HDC4. Now there are several versions of both of these subs and I have tested countless hours with both. This is my recommendation, it isn't intended to be the end all BEST but will get you really damn close All recommendations are with alum coil D1 subs. Single sub setup, simply multiply for multi sub setups, works great in my testing. Okay guys, I thought I'd share my most recent build with yall. I work until 5:00 P.M. so please excuse the low light pictures. Most of the work was done at night. So I just finished my recone on my HDC3-15 copper D1 and could not figure out which dust cap to use. So I started looking at what I could use that would make it a little different from everyone else. So hre is how it went: First thought Second thought And the final, which is how I believe Sounqubed should be selling/shipping the subwoofers I took their 8 inch carbon fiber cap and trimmed it down to 6 inches to fit in the original cap area and "I like it alot".
