  1. I REALLY want to try some of the subs, but can't fit the mounting depth of any of them in my crew cab f250... I refuse to go the flat, shallow sub route. Any chance that you guys will be making a sub that's more in the 5" depth range? Pretty please??

Currentlt own a HDS212 with a 750.1. I plan on getting a HDS3 very soon with a 1200.2. Now the problem is idk if u should get another 12 or try a 15. My theory, louder (which I want),capable of hitting more notes, like higher and lower hz's with a 15 compared to my current 12. But I'm trying to plan ahead for future build in my next car (which I hope it'll be an Acura RSX). So I'd like to consider how the HDS312 or 15 will sound in a hatch with good box made for the sub. Any opinions or questions needed answered to help me figure out what I exactly want. Thanks ahead of time!

  3. HDS208 - The Baddest 8" woofer you'll ever encounter (Pricing and Availability to be announced)The HDS208, your cost efficient 8" woofer designed with familiar SoundQubed reliability and performance. Our HDS200 subs have been very successful and have became the blueprint for the HDS208 design. This woofer is a beast at 600W RMS, a cast frame, 2.5" copper coil and back plate venting to coil it in the tightest situations. The high efficiency starts with a strong 2.5" voice coil powered by a motor structure patterned after the energy model of the HDS2.5 structure. We like subs that can pound with authority and the HDS's play just like their bigger brothers. High temperature…

  4. Hey guys, I am needing some direction or reassurance in what I'm doing with my port. This is my first time working with an 18" sub and with SoundQubed equipment. According to soundqubed.com, the HDC3 18" wants a box anywhere from 5-6 cubes with a vent of 96sq" x 18" long. To me, that port seems odd. So I just got done designing my box. External dimensions are 25" x 25" x 26" but I'm using double sheets of .75 MDF, so each measurement take off 3". I calculate internal space at 22" x 22" x 23" = 11,132 inches = 6.44 cubes. Rough internal space after ONLY sub displacements is 6.4ish cubes. My desired tuning frequency is 31-32hz, because the fs of this sub is 31hz. So, I …

So I am thinking about purchasing the super tweets and pro 6.5's but am wondering what people are using for crossovers with these? Do you have anything that can be purchased from you to use for this? Not sure I want to go the active crossover route.

  6. Hey folks. I've been considering this amplifier for a friend as the first step up to a decent amplifier, but I'm curious to know if anyone has any experience with these being used at 1/2 ohm and if they're stable that low. I can wire the drivers for 2 ohms, but I'd rather go lower if the amplifier can cope with it, even though something tells me we're going to have charging system issues well before any amplifier over-current scenarios. Thanks in advance!

So I just made my purchase for a HDS212 and Q1-750. Wanted to get some input on how to properly tune it. I don't have any meters, dd1s, anything like that, but I may be able to borrow one. But anyways, what is the process of tuning the Q1-750? Also, this will be my first system with a bass knob, so I'd appreciate help on tuning with that. Thanks ahead of time

Hi all, just putting together my first setup to go into a 2007 VW R32. Just ordered a Q1-1200D amp to go with a second hand JL 10W7. I've just finished the box for the sub and i've already got some 14ga OFC speaker wire. Do you think this will be ok or do I need 12ga as recommended by SQ? Sub is rated at 750W RMS. Cheers

  10. I've heard of this problem before, but can't recall the solution. As soon as I turn the key the bass note starts playing non stop unless I unplug either one of the RCA jacks. Doesn't matter which, then it will function normally. What causes this?

  11. Hi, I bought 2 soundqubed hdc3 15" for a friend recently on the SSA store, and he already blew one. He uses a Taramps 8K on them ! Is it possible to order a recone kit on SSA, or do I need o go on Soundqubed website ? I can't even find the price for this kit. But I saw the HDC4 recone price, so it must be cheaper ! In case I need to order through Soundqubed, I hope they answer emails, because, I don't want to call them : my english may not be good enough, and my telephoen bill will jump too much with a super long distance call like that (to a foreign country) ! Waiting for some ideas. Thanks guys.

Hey guys, So I bought a HDS212 D2 and 750.1 little over month ago. Love it but I wanna get louder. So looking for input on how I should spend money. -Do I buy another HDS212 and 750.1 and hook it all up together in a new box -Buy another HDS212 and a new 1200.1 amp plus box? -Get a HDS312 or 15 and 1200.1 and possibly use same box (unless I go with 15" obviously) Also, for electrical, I'd probably have to get a second battery? And I'm still looking towards the big 3 in near future. Currently in a '01 Corolla with an interstate battery (550 CCA) Off topic question: if I made a wood floor and put my box in place of my backseat, would it sound better than being in the trunk?…

So I have had this amp for a year and today it just stopped working. I used to have two 2 ohm subs going into it. I thought internally the amp would halve the ohm load. Somebody told me sq amps dont do that. So I tried giving it a 1 ohm load and didn't really see a difference. I then cleaned up some wiring and when I went to play it again there was no sound. The green power led comes on and I have checked all the fuses and connections. I can't figure out why it won't work. The only thing I can think of is that maybe my rcas are bad. But they were just working. They are nvx rcas and have been pretty good up until now. Or maybe it's not the rcas I don really know.

Looking at upgrading the factory speakers in my Focus. Car has the Sony system "upgrade". I don't intend on amping the speakers for now, so I'd like something that will work well with what I have. The car comes with a component setup from the factory but I've been looking at the new 6.5" coaxials on the SQ site. There is also the component setup but I can't tell if the tweeter is removable on the component setup though so that may not work. Factory setup is 4ohm at 25w RMS from what I was able to dig up. I'm trying to get a nice clear sound so I guess I was wondering how well going with the coaxials might work? On the Focus forums the Infinity PR6500CS 6.5 seem…

What's the rumor on the HDCX I keep hearing about? Wouldn't mind some info and release date as I'm window shopping now for some 8's most likely for my best scenario within my application. SQ is about an hour drive for me so it would be cool to go swing by to pick some up if I decide that route!
