I plan on running a obsidian 12 or 15 in my 94 grand prix 2dr. I have a box meant for 2 12s, 5cuf gross 3.75 net. I can either put the 12 in there. or plug both wholes and cut a hole for the 15 on top. either way the box is temp. anyways I need suggestion on a amp for it. don't want to spend anymore then $200. i don't buy used and i don't buy off of fourms. i don't have a paypal and don't want a paypal.

I'm trying to get some bass in my 2013 Tahoe and wanted to know what's a good amp to push 3 15 Fi sub's I'm not worried about price because I'm going all out with this.

I've recently acquired a 96 LS400. After reading about how the wiring of this particular model I feel like I could easily tap into the Factory Headunit signals and run the wiring needed to power and signal to my trusty Sax.100.4. The plan so far is to keep the factory headunit, upgrade the subwoofer, eventually upgrade the front components, use the 4 channel to power the sub and front speakers and use the factory amp to power the rear door speakers that can be faded off if necessary. I'm not sure what to do about the sub section. This model has a 8" sub mounted in the rear deck, powered by a 30ish watt amplifier. I would like more bass than this factory setup can …

Probably a stupid question but I'm wondering how I would go about hooking up my 15" SSD to my home stereo receiver. I think its a 100 watt per channel receiver @ 4 or 8 ohms. Just wondering if there is any way to do this or is it just stupid.

Ok so the blk plate is a metal piece for my back seats and bolts into the gray metal part of my cars body. the bolt goes touches both metal spots so can i ground on top of the black plate? (i will sand the paint off of course if i can use it)

Soooo, some stupid drugged up moron stole a truck on the other side of my neighborhood....while running from the cops he plowed right through my truck and totalled it completely....right after just getting it ready to put a system in a blowthrough. I usually am used to seeing boxes with the shape of a port like a L, but the box was to be tuned to 32 hz and is missing the piece of wood that is found behind the cutout usually... what is wrong here?

im still learning a bit here with the audio but im curious as to how to match the ohms so im gonna use an example then ask the question. lets say i have these subs.... Two 10" 1200watt subs at 4 ohms and Two 12" 1300watt subs at 4 ohms Now does that mean i need 1 amp with 4 ohms with a splitter that goes into the subs? or would i need 2 amps both with 4 ohms each? or is there something else i can do?? and the amps need to put out enough watts to match the subs right? thanks in advance for any help.

Well, I got my L3's today and installed them in the kicks. I will give a very small review today on them and explain some stuff about them. They are 3in drivers with a good frequency range from 150hz to 10khz. Wide range and small driver that can do IB. I have mine sealed in a kick panel. Right now i've done a sine sweep on it from 20-20khz. The driver was hooked to a CDT SATNet 480 crossover so it only played to about 5khz or so. Driver didn't like anything below 120hz not saying it won't play it but it wasn't liking it from some of the sounds. I understand that things are almost always "build, test, tear down, build, test; nothing works the same for everyone," but I'm wondering what others' experiences are with sub and port placement/alignment in a small Suv? 1) Would it be better to have the port rear firing into the hatch; or have the port firing up, parallel to and right up against the hatch? Assuming both enclosures take up the entire cargo area just under the window line and same external dimensions. I'm looking for some seleniums to put in my truck. I want two selenium horns and maybe selenium midbass drivers and supertweeters to put in my doors. I've looked at parts express but there doesn't seem to be a big variety If anyone knows a good website or dealer? And is It worth to look at horns under $100?

I've got a leftover system that was in my truck, that I'm going to be putting into my car. I'm not sure what the general opinion on my equipment is, though....I've got a Phoenix Gold Octane R DVC 12" sub, in a ported box right now (tuned to 37hz), and a Audio Systems Twister F4>380 4-channel amp. I'm not sure of the RMS of the sub, so would it be safe to bridge 2 channels for each coil, or should I just run it as a 4-channel amp? Swapped my sealed fifteens for the BTL again for my listening/HT setup; super basic question, any reason not to do up firing? I have always loved the look upwards firing setups, maybe because my heart is in the trunk of an suv it seems to register just fine. the cabinet is massive, forward firing is wacky looking; I'm using the opposite side as rack for amps. Is sag an issue in a typical setup or only in setups where limits are being tested?
