Today I purchased 2 kicker L7 12s and a rockford fosgate prime 1200. Can someone help me with a design for my 1998 s10 extended cab, my max dimensions are 46" wide, 22" tall, and 13.5" deep would like it tuned @ 33 Hz. Any help is appreciated

okay guys i have finished everything on my box expect the circle for the sub and the hole for the wires.. my friends router is broken now and no one seems to have one.. what tool can i purchase that is CHEAP and works alright.. it doesnt have to be perfect...

I have an older corolla, i want to go with a 4.0 ft^3 slot-port tuned @ 32Hz. Its a small trunk the max dimensions are 33x16.5x21.

OK i need to run through and make a check with yall to see if my demisions are rgith for this box and its ports ok the box has 4.6 cuft and it will have 2 re sx 12's each displaces .16 cuft and a port that displaces .24 cuft so total displacement = .56cuft which gives the box roughly 4 cuft so i have the port 15w2H14L = 33hz does this sound ok

In short order: I've layed out so many ideas for the cargo area of my truck that i've gone cross-eyed. The trailblazer's been a test platform since I got her last year. Its been long time since i been getting all my equipment and now im only a couple of weeks from it :bigclap:. now im scared to design my own box because of the big box that is going to be and i dont want to mess up. i have a silverado ext cab and im taking the back seat out, no one fits back there anyways . Ok my max dimensions are 26L,24w,26h those are counting the thickness of the wood oh and i almost forgot the subs are gonna be 2 18's DC lvl 4 with lvl5 coils. i was thinking of having the subs front and port front in the bottom tune to 32 or 33 hz if anyone has has time to build me a design il totally appreciated.

ok so word around town in the local audio house in town is lookin to build a car to "out do me" they found a sucker that wants to be me! sooo they have a plan to do 8 mojos.. 2 cheap 12s and a buncha other crap from 15 grand... so work got to me.. and i drove around tell i found this fool... ohh you should have seen his face... anyway... i talked about walling onew of my cars before... now im doing it. i wanna do a simple wall.. nothing crazy.. i wanna do 4 15's or 4 18's.... im thinking 15;'s but first tthing is first... what car should i do it in is the poll working?

Well I need to know what size recones to order and box to start building.... will either be doing 2 12" zcons in a 6th order ported through rear deck or 2 15" zcons in ported firing into car with trunk sealed off. . Really wanting to be over 150 db's but not just wanting numbers. Wanting crazy daily driver. Did a 145.6 with one zcon 15 on 3000 watts so hoping I can brake 150 .......either 12s or 15s will have same amp. Thinking bc5500 or somewhere in the 5-6k range. Just wanting peoples opinion on which I should go with. Cause wanting to order asap so I can have them before summer

well I really miss my back seat. Right now I have a false floor and a box back there. I want to do a blow through really bad. I dont know how to make the box though. The sub is an 18" Fi Audio BTL. I cant mount it vertically because the sub is taller then the bed. It will have to be at some type of an angle. Then I run into the problem of how to make the actual box and how it comes into the cab.Any help would be awesome and if someone could draw up something really nice there could be some cash involved. Ok so I am going to be going to sevierville tomorrow and stopping by the place my brother in law works. He said I was more than welcome to use the equipment they have. --read cabinet shop-- Sooo I figure why not go ahead and make a better box for the one avalanche. I'm looking for 3.5-4 cubes, tuned to 21hz. I would like it to be 30"W X 16-18" H X whatever deep. 16" high is better than 18 cause it'd be easier to fit, but i could do 18 if it really helps that much. Hi, i am looking for Street A class. My install is: Two amp EM-PHASER EA1800D, and two ALPINE SWR1042D. today i was build box 2.3f^3 (65l) and port at 45hz~ cross area 43.25in^2 (280cm^2) at 19.6in (50cm) long. so my result now is 147.4dB at 54hz. i have about 5kW at 0.5ohm linked amps (99.1V*51.7A). in Lithuanian street A class we can use one amp or two linked. so with open door result is 148.2. Somebody have an ideas how can I do more batter result?

Just purchased a couple of eclipse 88120s in a custom enclosure. I threw it in today and, similar to my hdc3, I am lacking in low end output. The box is dual chambered,tuned to 34 hz, and each driver has about 1.6 cubes. I thought that I did not need to build a new box because the tuning of 34 hz is low enough to achieve the lows Im looking for. However, like i previously stated, Im lacking low end output. It seems like Im never going to be able to get the flat response Im looking for. Thanks for the help guys! edit: The custom enclosure has two seperate ports, one for each driver. Hello, I'm in need of a box design for a single hdc3.1 18 it's powered with a cab 1600.1 and the max dimensions are 35 long 37 width and 15 tall and would like it to be tuned to 32 hz but any suggestions and would be greatly appreciated!!! I found a website the I messed with and was wonder if this box would fit the specs for the 18???

Supp' SSA!! I am looking to build a higher tuned box for my 2 15" Fi Audio Q's. ( I know they are not made for spl) just for fun... I do 148.1db @ 45hz (30hz tunning) but looking to see what higher tunning will do. For some reason i always peak at 43-45 hz with diferent boxes/tunning and a friend also peaks at 45hz with diferent boxes on 2 12's. Is it the Tahoe's peak or something?. Both are 01/02 Chevy Tahoe's. If i tune a box to 43-45hz will it help because of what i peak at ? Thanks for the input.

here in the philippines, there is a 10" challenge for car audio shops.. who ever can make the RE MT10 hit 150+ DB gets another free MT10.. restrictions are: single MT10" on trunk 1amp 1extra battery me and other shop owners tried it.. amp used: AAMP monster 5kw box: tuned @ 45hz wires: guage 0 stinger wires extra bat: stinger SPV70 first the MT10 on the term lab it hit 146.2 we tried the same setup on a FI BL fulloption.. on the term lab it hit 148.6 how did this happen?ö?ö?

Okay so I want to build my own box of time I've had my box built in the past for me. Mostly leaning towards the sq side. I want to build something loud this time. I seen read a lot of stuff on here its got me confused. I did try downloading winid on my laptop but couldn't exactly get it to work right. I left it alone for a couple weeks cuz I had plans on changing my subs but they fell thru. since then my laptop has died and I do not have a way to use that program to figure out what kind of numbers I need. I have a desired tuning frequency that I want but I will have two ports...I think. The best example I could find is in the Stealth Avalanche build, basically the same idea he did but in a different vehicle and different subs, bit more air space. Here is what it looks like. As you can see, there is a port with a partition in between. So my question is, how do I figure out what to tune too. Do I tune each port to what I want the tuning to be...do I need to do some calculating and figure it out through equations....I could use some help on this subject. going in my 86 towncar. trying to use only the lower part of the trunk for box which measures 44"L 28"W........... as for depth i can go w/ 17" (would be flush w/ upper back part of my trunk, where the spare would go), or i can go up to 20"D. subs up and vent/port up. can be either single chamber 1 port (whatever side) or seperate chambered t ported. give me some ideas w/ design and tuning. thank you.
