So I bought this RD3250v1. Seemed to work great with my car off AKA 12v. Only got about 10 mins total (2 different time) of testing on it with the car off. When I went to turn my car on to drive and test, shit went into protect. I bought an amp from this guy on caraudioclassifieds on Monday via PayPal. I sent him the money on Monday, and since then I have not heard from him at all.. Kinda sucks because I was hoping he'd send it out next day or something so I could get it by the end of the week. Is this normal? This is my first car audio PayPal transaction. So i bought 2 MJ-18M's from him saturday morning/friday night or so. Said they shipped Saturday morning and payed for 3 Day air to have them By SBN ... asked saturday night for a tracking number and said his gf had the car or something and he would send it the following morning. I sold him an Alpine CDA-9813 I had listed here back in January. Now it's a month later: my PayPal balance is frozen at -$140.00 & I have an open dispute filed against me. I purchased an alternator bracket from Troy Jones (tejcurrent) nearly 4 weeks ago. Since my purchase, I am completely disgusted by the level of service I have received from Troy. I have been more than patient for my bracket which I paid in full without hesitation due to various recommendations from friends in the CA community. A few weeks ago i bought a pair of used Alpine type-r 5X7's off of Swagger Wagon 468. They came yesterday and the transaction couldn't have been more pleasant. He remained in great communication with me throughout the whole process. My friend needed an amp so I posted up a wtb thread for an amp. He posted in it saying he had an arc ks1200 amp for sale. He told me all the info I needed about the amp and linked a link for me to read more. I filed a claim with paypal and I will be taking other actions shortly. At this point I'm overly pissed but we all know there's a gamble with online transactions. I bought a used sundown z15 from him a week ago, and it came today. He shipped it the next business day, and stayed in touch everyday since. I don't think I had to wait more than an hour or two for a response to any questions I had via Text, Email, or here on SSA. It was packed well and arrived as expected.
