hey i was just wondering, with the proper voltage can the 3000d be strapped at .25ohms? (1/8) ohm each? thank you much

im sure a few others are still wondering if u have any dates yet on when they could possibly be here and cleared customs? feb 2nd there is a comp in OH id love to go to if the amps are in by then. thx for the update.

Hi guys if i buy a sundown 3000d is the warrenty transferable?I know this guy and he have 4 of them and he states that they have a 2 year warrenty on them.

The 3000Ds are in customs now here on the east coast. If they clear smoothly I may have them tomorrow. If not, I should still get them before the end of the week. Orders will ship ASAP once they come in.

I am getting ready to build a system for a chrysler 300c and was wondering what you guys think would be louder in this application. 3 sa 12s sealed firing in the cabin or 2 sa 12 ported. I am planning on running a z 2500on the subs.

im wonderin what the specs will be on this amp as far as how many watts at what ohm. and i plan on gettin 2 BTL's so what VC config would i get them in and hoiw would i wire them??

So I got bored today and decided to test the Nightshades limits.. it was taking every note solid @ 1500watts without even breaking a sweat... So I droped it down to .5, lowered the gains a lil bit... testing it at typical music levels seemed to do pretty good.. a lil stress but nothing serious... put on Burning Up Chopped in Screwed... pretty much flexed the piss out of the car for 15 seconds and it started smelling bad... turned it down real quick. Put it back to 2ohms... played fine for a little and then gave out. Sooo Jacob any type of specialized recone I can get =D? I ripped her apart to find this...

So the single SA-8 v.2 has been doing great for quite a while with the PSI PR but now that production is in and all pre-orders have shipped I decided I wanted to step it up a bit to THREE of them. Derrick came up today and put together a nice box for me for the three 8s using a single 6" aero-port about 28" long or so tuning us in the low 30s. I have dual 1ohm subs...was looking to do 2-3000Ds strapped @ 1ohm but was told that I would benefit more from 4-1500s. Im still undecided if I want to go with a Atomic 7K or get 4 refurbished 1500Ds. What kinda power do u think Id get out of 4 with a 250amp alt, 2 runs of 2/0 welding cable, 1 Deka 9A78DT up front and 3-9A31s in the rear? Do u think Id get more out of the Atomic or 4 1500s, both are around the same price....(I know this is a Sundown thread but please be honest)

Ok i m trying to get the best box i can for my tens i have been going back and forth on size and tuning. I just read the new thread saying about 1 cube would be good if you plan on pushing the subs i will be putting about 825 watts throu these for 10s. I thinking 35htz tuning. Should i aim for the 4 cubes or 1 cube a piece? low ? higher ? wats the displacement on these subs ? thanks

Think the subs would be able to handle that kinda power birth sheet is 3303rms at 1 ohm and thats what i would wire them to box would around .75 cubes per sub tuned to 36 htz maybe a lil lower looking to be louder than the btl 15

im goin back and forth between the 2. i think it would be badass to see peoples reactions off the fact that its 8's hittin that hard, but at the same time im really lookin for hard hittin mid and especially low bass wich is what makes me lean towards the 15's. so yalls input would be greatly appreciated.

My next build will consist of 4 SA-8's with whichever coil options I need to see either a 1 ohm or 2 ohm final imp. Box will be 2.4^3 net tuned to 32Hz subs up port back. I already have an AP15001D so I could get a second and make an AP30001D. Would be cheaper than the AQX2500.1, but I don't know if the 8's will take 750 a piece daily. Ordered 4 Sundown 3000D amps that were delivered Thursday. I will run them on a 16 volt system. Also what size alt and number of batteries to use. Should you use 8 volt batteries or 16 volt batteries. What are the advantage of each.

I just had my first time on the meter today at Slamology and I didn't do too bad, a 140.5db. The enclosure is 5cu net (to oversized for big power) tuned to 33hz (obviously not spl oriented) ran off a Sundown SAZ-1500D@ 1ohm. For a system that is made to get low and have moderate volume ability, it exceeds expectations. I did lots of demos and impressed the hell out of people that gave "just 8's" a chance SUNDWON AUDIO FTMFW!!!! BTW- the vehicle is an 07 Ford Escape and I believe that there is more in this current setup

I have a set of cdt 6 and half with upstage located in my doors and a pillars. They have an rms of 400. I have a 4.100 and would like to use it for them. It would be 320x2. I think I can run it bridged stereo with y adapters on the rca. My question is how do I set it up so that both channels are doing the same thing. The panel is a bit confusing to me. If I have both channels on high pass, what abou all the other controls?
