Hi, I recently decided to upgrade my Type-R subs to 2 Sundown SA-12's (4 Ohm) for my SAZ-1500D amp and want to set them up as 1 Ohm and I have followed the diagram on the12-volt which is this: but my sub box has 2 wire terminals for each sub so what I did was for each sub - to - and + to + with the one + wire from the top coil and the - from bottom coil to the terminal and from the terminals to the amp to their -/+ and set jumpers on the amp as + to + and - to -, this should be ok right? I had the Type-R's is the same fashion which worked fine but the SA-12's aren't pushing which is making me think I might have done something wrong in the wiring so if someone can please…

Jacob, How would I setup a 1200D and a 125.2, Rca wise? I know how to, but I am just double checking. I would run Rca's from the sub output to the 1200D and Front to the 125. Correct? If I wanted to hook up another 1200D, I would just use the pass thru right? When I get the 100.4 I run Rca's from front and rear right? Just Wonderin so I can have everything when My HU comes in. I'm going out on Halloween and I wanna flex a bit

I see that the 1500D have 2 sets of speaker outputs. So the easiest way is to get dual 2 ohm, hook it up in parallel, then the internal are bridge for a final 1 ohm load. What if I were to go with dual 1 ohm (1 sub) wire it in series = 2 ohm, then bridge the connection to the amp, will i get a final load of 1 ohm? I can't tell from the manual if the external outputs are bridgeable. Please confirm. Thanks!

After reading the FAQ, it seems that the speaker wire outputs are parallel wired inside the amp. I'm trying to wire a SAZ-3000D for a single one Ohm load. Do I need to sum the positives and negatives outside the amp or can I just pick one set of + and - and get the full wattage out of the amp. Thanks. Carl

NeoPro-8 models are now SOLD OUT. Also -- all NeoPro speakers will face a small price increase due to the Neo cost increases. The next run of NeoPro-8s will include 4 ohm models as well. We will have more in stock in June... the demand for these really snuck up on us exponentially rather than just a gradual increase so supply was literally pulled right out from under us! We should have more steady data on the demand in the future on these. New / Old Pricing : NeoPro-6.5 : $99 / NA NeoPro-8 : $105 / $99 NeoPro-10 : $129 / $115 The 10" has a much bigger piece of Neo in it so was more affected. If Neo goes back down in the future we'll adjust accordingly -- we may also offer…

too start off I'm not bashing any products this was just a direct swap. we started out with this box on a 40.1 @.5 did a 154.9 then we dropped this in and only came up with this voltage drop was from 15.2 on the volt meter down to 13.4 on the 40.1 and from 15.2 down to 12.3 on the 4500 there was a nsb90 under the hood with 6 runs of wire to the back batteries they are 110lb data safes. the 40.1 was giving some crappy wave's on the TL and the sundown hard perfect wave's on every test we are going to do the 4500 on 16 volts next and see what it will do then here is a pic of the wave with the 40.1

ok, so i've got a saz1500d, i'm going to get a chevy impala 00-04, i gave the gf the type r 12"s i originally had in my lincoln towncar, i'm thinking single 15" for the next set-up so i can give it the box space it needs. would a single nightshade 15" w/1500 rms in an optimal vented and tuned enclosure put me in the mid to high 140's?

Okay if I've done my math correct, the 3500D (with a 350A fuse), I should be able to power this thing with a 250 amp alternator and (2) D3100's (117 AH each) running at 1 ohm on (2) of the of the Z15's?

I've mainly been updating on Facebook but we have been heavily involved in moving our location about 20 minutes down the road to Claremont, NC to a much larger facility for most of July. We now have functional shipping, testing, and build room areas at the new location plus a few office guys have transferred over as well. It has been a bit of a long process but it's coming along nicely. I have not yet moved my office or Debbie and the accounting / invoicing systems so it's been a bit inefficient as the data has to be transferred to the new location to ship (aside from Yard Sale) -- but the goal is to move all this by Monday and have everyone working in the same location…

Well the more I study the x-over section on the 50.4, the more unsure I am. Basically I want to run two channels to my 6.5 " mid-bass. I'm planning on using the LPF on my HU so I just need to x-over the top end, not sure where yet. Then the other two channels to my tweets thru HPF on amp. The sub-sonic filters on both sets of channels has me a little confused. Could someone be so kind as to tell me a good starting point on ALL switches? Also I'm running one set of RCA's to the amp and the other set to my sub amp. Can I use just one set of inputs or do I need to use Y adapters (would rather not do that because of any signal degradation, tho probably not much). Than…

Just wondering if anyone has any pics of the newer style saz1500's.....i think it was the heatsink that was a little different? I know the performance is identical, just want to see how close they are to the 1st ones. I have 2 of the original and am planning on ordering a couple more.

Ok, the last couple of shows I've been to I have been down a few tenths. 157 at the Vinny, 156.9 this weekends Madvette show. I know my voltage has been an issue, but I'm working on that. So I discovered (by accident) another way to wire my subs to a lower load, and my amps don't go into protect.

Well I just received my SAX-125.2 not too long ago and WOW! This is a very nice amp with sweet sound clarity. I put it to my polkmomo 6x9's and it blows my overrated crunch ( I know, I know) out of the water. I just started getting back into car audio not too long ago and went cheap just to get started. Sundown for life now!!! Then you had to go and have this sale for July and u can bet I will take advantage. Before this month is over I will be ordering an SAX-100.4 and the 50.4 fo sho. Then the 4500d will ship (hopefully) in October...Christmas all year long for me!!! Hopefully during the build I can get some pics going but it be awhile. Thanks for the great service and…

I know this is backwards of what most people ask, but I cannot find it documented anywhere. I have limited space, and I'm trying to upgrade my system using the equipment I have sitting in my garage. So, that would have me using 2 channels of my 100.4C bridged - running a single SD-1 10" sub...which is an 8 ohm sub. So, what I'm wondering is how much wattage I will be able to get out this amp at 8 ohms bridged? My guess, based on the published specs, would be in the neighborhood of 200 watts. Just looking for a confirmation of this. Thanks!
