Sundown Audio

I have a sa8 that's dual 4ohm. I can't wire it to 8ohms there wouldn't be any power. So can the 100.2 go down to 2 ohms bridged and if so how many watts would it push?

I was checking out the sundown SA-12's on this website and was wondering if there is a build time for the marked down subs? And as far as the RMS rating goes is it underrated like the Fi subs? Also would a 2.3cuft box @ 34hz with about 25 square inches of port be ok? Here is the link: My link

hi, i am going to be getting an sax100.2, sax100.4 and a saz3000d. and i am wondering if this is going to be enough electrical to support it. 1 powernaster D1200 up front, 2 powermaster d3100 in the back, a 190 amp alternator (biggest one for my car) 1/0 big 3, and i am going to be running a ground run to connect all the batteries together. also the sax100.2 will be at 2 ohm. two of the channels will be at 2 ohm and the other set will be at 4 ohm on the sax100.4 and the saz3000d will be at 2 ohm(reason for the saz3000d at 2 ohm and not an saz1500d is that i might get a new vechile(sp) in a year and then i want to go for just spl in the new vechile(sp(. so then i will al…

im wanting to purchase a phase linear uv8 flip out dvd player for my car.ive got 4 12's and a 1500d.im installing 2 batterys and waitn to install a altenator.ive had a problem i cant figure out w my alpine head unit and was going to get this one cause a few of my friends have one and it looks great and sounds good and is a great price right now.does anyone know about these head units and are they ok w alot of power.im eventually going to do 2 1500d's.thanks !!!!!!!!

jus wondering if this setup is ok... i have 2 10" rockford fosgate punch hx2... in a ported box... the amp i jus bought was sundown audio sae-1000d...this is my first time that i heard of that amp.. so i jus got it since i was looking for one amp.. i had a choice of this amp or a rf t10001bd.. but i got this amp for 235 and if i got the rf amp.. it would be 350.. so i save a lil.. does anyone know how to setup gain and subsonic and stuffs.. thanks in advanc.. btw is there a difference if the rf amp is heaver then the sa amp

Hi guys, I recently bought a NS-1 for my installer. The amp made a world trip before coming to my country (thanks USPS) but we got it right. From the beginning there was a noise like something was loose in the amp. We thought it was due to the fact that the amp is very long and there were not enough screws to hold the panel. One day he smelled something burning, but could not define where it was coming from : from the amp, from the car next to him that was like a smoke machine in the traffic jam,...? ok guys heres my prob.1st i have 2 saz3ks on 16v wired 2 half ohm on 4 15.2 NS. gains are about 1/2 or so. my prob is when i start 2 turn up the volume on the HU the subs start 2 pop and go crazy!!!! wha could my prob be? i kno it has more in it but i cant get the volume out of it and i wanna wang it at the dub show comin up 2morrow, so i need 2 fix this prob asap. any hellp ould be greatly appreciated. it start 2 pop at about 35/50 volume on the hu sub level on hu is around -3. around 38 is where i usually stop. never had this prob out of the saz1500s i had. wha could be my issue wit this setup.

Ordered my other SAZ-1000D today Will probably be here Wednesday, so I will install it Wednesday. The question still remains, strapped at 2ohm? Or separate operation at 1ohm each. I understand strapping is less efficient, but that's ok. How about some options on sound, output, and heat build up.

finally got the front stage all setup, and painted and fiberglassed. Time to start building for the bass now.

Both Brandon and I will be out of town from the 5th to the 14th this month (January 2013) for a business trip that involves CES and several other sub-trips while we are on the west coast. Don't mind the title but it made you look.. Well I must say my sundown is GREAT, my pioneer SPL 12" D2's sound great but was lacking in bass race today. So am pulling them back out ( I just got them in yesterday ) and want to run 2 15" so I can get the numbers I am looking for 145+ run in 139.9 class, but my problem is do you think 2 FI BL's D2 on a sundown 3000 at .5 ohms before rise would be ok or is that going to be to much for the BL's for a 30 sec bass race run? If the 3000D is to much for the FI's I have would one sundown nightshade D2 with upgrades be better. I am sure the 2 15" BL's would be louder right due to cone area. Just wanted to give a public thank you for the amazing customer service!! The amps showed up today, a couple days before I expected them to. I will always give you the first shot at any audio business I may have in the future( and I know I will;)). Just got my 2 sax-100.2's to go with my saz-1500d. As the title states. I will be on an actual vacation for the first time in ~6 years or so. The rest of the crew will still be here at the shop holding down the fort. You can still reach Brandon and Debbie as you normally would. Some things may be delayed a bit that require my attention but most things will get done no problem.

jacob please help me with this wiring issue im having. i have 3 ascendant audio mids in each front door and 1 in each rear. theyre all 4ohms. my question is can i run all 3 off the front set of channels safely(or should i say am i gonna kill it if i do) . the rear would be on the other channels. basically i wanna do it this way so i can control balancing the sound. then i have a 50.4 to run the 8 tweeters- 2 in the dash 1 in each front door and 1 in each rear door. the xo will be 80hz-about 2450 @12db/oct on the 100.4 and the tweeters will be xo at 2500@18db/oct on the 50.4. the tweeters will be mounted just in front of the door handles on all 4 doors. here are a few pics…
