To ensure that contact is organized and prompt please read the following. DO NOT post on Facebook or the Forums to request order status, warranty information, or pricing. It is VERY difficult to know who you are or what you ordered this way. Forums and Facebook are designed to share new product information, customer installs, updates, etc and are not optimal for the aforementioned things. MAKE SURE you provide your REAL NAME somewhere on the e-mail -- if you are asking about an order make sure to tell us the name and e-mail on the Paypal payment as they very often do not match. Just wondering if any of you guys had posted up a comprehensive review of the nightshade?? I've searched the forum a bit but haven't found much info on it other then its loud!! I was looking for any reviews in like the daily driving aspect of it/how it sounds/comparable subs/things along those lines. Hoping to see a good review up if you guys could!! Unless I missed something when I was searching through, but I couldn't find a full product review on it! So far things look good, but I was just hoping to see a bit more details about the subs listening style and how it sounded in daily driving.

I will be out of town from January 7th to 17th this year for CES and another business trip on the west coast. I will be back to work on January 18th. I will answer as many e-mails as possible but do not be surprised if you don't get a response for a while -- while I am gone the shop will be staffed but some things that I am still working on training others to do will have to wait until I get back or at the least take much longer to get done. You can still reach Brandon or Debbie by e-mail for sales and tech questions : [email protected] -- Tech Questions, Misc Questions. came in yesterday, got her in and play with her for a lil while. figure i'd post some pics, know yall have seen em many times. pics are with a phone, kinda crappy quality. ya, i know its an ugly trunk, its not a show off trunk, no show, all go i havent had very many quality subs, so my review is pretty much worthless, but here goes. my last sub was an acoustic elegance c15.1, an old av clone, so thats all i have to compare this to, and this was a drop in replacement for that. first off, it looks gorgeous. got her in and wow, she sounds pretty good, not quite as musical as the ae, but not too much different. the ae sub kinda struggled with the higher bass notes be…

My next build will consist of 4 SA-8's with whichever coil options I need to see either a 1 ohm or 2 ohm final imp. Box will be 2.4^3 net tuned to 32Hz subs up port back. I already have an AP15001D so I could get a second and make an AP30001D. Would be cheaper than the AQX2500.1, but I don't know if the 8's will take 750 a piece daily. I know the AQX2500.1 would be pushing it already. I have ran double rms to an AA Chaos 15 with my AP15001D without any problems. So I know how to watch my system for signs of stress and properly control my volume and gain. Electrical will consist of 140 amp HO Alt, Optima Red Top under the hood, Big 3 in 1/0, 1 run of 2/0 positive from fro…

(I originally posted this in the main subwoofer forum, but didn't realize there was a Sundown specific forum. Since I'm leaning towards Sundown, I'm re-posting here) What's up SSA? Hoping I could get some advice from you guys. I need a sub for my boat, but I'm just not sure which one will be best for my application. I like everything I've read about sundown so I'm leaning in that direction. I had an 12" Alpine type R powered by an Alpine MRP500 in a crappy best buy enclosure...I took it out, and looking for more The new sub(s) primary purpose is to get girls to dance on the boat. Most of the music played will be fist pumping club music, e.g., house, hip hop, and some rock…

so i was tunin my amp for my 12" Q. and i wanted to use as little bass boost as normal on the amp. but even if i maxed out the gains, set my LPF around 80hz, and turned down my bass boost to 0db. i was only puttin out about 17 volts (if i remember correctly i did it early this morning). i know it was below 20.. and i needed about 31.6 volts. is this normal? i used 50hz tone when i had no BB, and when i used it, i used a 60hz tone. the only way i was able to reach my needed volts, was when my gains are just over 3/4 set, and my bass boost is about the same spot, 15-17db. but is that about normal? would it be better if i maxed out the bass boost and compensated with my gai…

I have 2x SAZ-1500Ds that are used. These amps carry full warranty coverage from your date of purchase. They are very lightly used by Team Sundown members. They are 9/10 on a bad day cosmetically, all look the same with pretty much only minor mounting foor wear. Yes, the logo is upside down on one of them... it is reversible so you can change it back. These are $450 each shipped to the continental 48 states.

All online stores should be updated any time now -- all local dealers have been e-mailed new price sheets as well. If you are a dealer and haven't received it yet let us know as dealer costs are also revised for 2014! The "Team" woofer will likely receive a name change before launch; but we are still debating what it will be -- we concluded that "Team" is too confusing since other people will be able to buy it. Many products that did change changed very little except for big amps and the NeoPro line. I did some massive number crunching to make sure all pricing was on point and mathematically / economically sound for us, dealers, and distributors. Some additional fine tu…

I was planning on switching to four nightshade 12's but the sa 12's are looking very attractive to me now. Jacob I saw you had four of them on two 3500d's how did they hold up. I have two 3000d's on four dd3512's right now and this is the third time I have had a motor shift and they are far away for warranty work vs sundown. Money isn't really an issue but I wanna get the most bang for my buck. The car is a daily driver. And I'm very careful with the gain nob. Is the output of the sa comparable to the 3512 sub

I am currently running a Kenwood eXcelon KAC-x40 for my comp set and I have had no issues with any whine or hum coming through my comps. However, yesterday after swapping out my SAE-1000 for the SAE-1200 I now have a whine in my comps when I plug the RCA's into it. With the volume at 0 the whine is still there. I think it is odd that I am getting a whine in my comps when plugging the RCA's into my sub amp. When I remove the RCA's from the SAE-1200 the whine goes away completely. Any insight into this would be more than appreciated. Thanks!!!! Head Unit: Kenwood DNX-5120 4-Channel RCA's: JL Audio XB-CLRAIC4-18 2-Channel/Sub RCA's: JL Audio XB-CLRAIC2-18 Power &a…

I am just wondering, coming from an Sq person to spl, I still tend to choose amps for clean power and heaps of headroom, size is never really an issue (as in footprint) as I will make it fit. I rarely even look at features as well. (mostly because I am running active, all I really need is a gain.
