All online stores should be updated any time now -- all local dealers have been e-mailed new price sheets as well. If you are a dealer and haven't received it yet let us know as dealer costs are also revised for 2014! The "Team" woofer will likely receive a name change before launch; but we are still debating what it will be -- we concluded that "Team" is too confusing since other people will be able to buy it. Many products that did change changed very little except for big amps and the NeoPro line. I did some massive number crunching to make sure all pricing was on point and mathematically / economically sound for us, dealers, and distributors. Some additional fine tu…

ok to start off i have a 99 s10 ext cab, with a false floor in the back, under it is a saz 2K, and a 125.2. i started with only about 1" of air space above the amps before the floor, then i found out the 125.2 was getting soo hot i could not even touch it, but would never go into thermal (protect). also that was getting that hot within a 10-15min drive. i also found that it only got hot at high volumes. so today i raised the floor up 3/4" i have about 2" of air space now above the 125.2, i also added right beside the amp blowing over it, a 120mm and a 80mm fan, on the other end of the floor i have a single 80mm blowing over my 2K, as i found it really didnt get that hot. …

I was planning on switching to four nightshade 12's but the sa 12's are looking very attractive to me now. Jacob I saw you had four of them on two 3500d's how did they hold up. I have two 3000d's on four dd3512's right now and this is the third time I have had a motor shift and they are far away for warranty work vs sundown. Money isn't really an issue but I wanna get the most bang for my buck. The car is a daily driver. And I'm very careful with the gain nob. Is the output of the sa comparable to the 3512 sub

Hey, I tried to PM Sundownz but it would not work. Anyway, I currently have a Sundown 1000D amp and one day the blue LED decided to stop working. I don't know what caused this but I was wondering can it easily be fixed or can I get a new one shipped or what. It is not a huge deal but because of where I put it, it served as a floor light for me. Thanks, Alex

I have 2x SAZ-1500Ds that are used. These amps carry full warranty coverage from your date of purchase. They are very lightly used by Team Sundown members. They are 9/10 on a bad day cosmetically, all look the same with pretty much only minor mounting foor wear. Yes, the logo is upside down on one of them... it is reversible so you can change it back. These are $450 each shipped to the continental 48 states.

Picked up a pair of 3000D's. Will be powering 2 DVC 4 ohm subs. Would there be any benefit of strapping and running a pair to 4 ohms over running just a single to 1 ohm? Output? Efficiency? etc? Any thoughts?

Well, my wife entered the truck last Saturday because it looked like it was going to be a small show. Shortly there after the other cars rolled in and although a smallish show we had to go up against 5 other cars. She took home 2nd in sound quality against the likes of Audison, Hertz, Zapco installed cars. We would have been trailing just behind #1 if it wasnt for some gain hiss and a turn off (mechanical) pop....JAKE you need to get this problem handled. (amps in the cabin and it is indeed mechanical noise). Other than that, with 1/2 hour of tuning and a 2nd place finish is prety nice. We are seriously thinking about doing SQi @ West Coast Regionals (my comp car is …

  21. so i was tunin my amp for my 12" Q. and i wanted to use as little bass boost as normal on the amp. but even if i maxed out the gains, set my LPF around 80hz, and turned down my bass boost to 0db. i was only puttin out about 17 volts (if i remember correctly i did it early this morning). i know it was below 20.. and i needed about 31.6 volts. is this normal? i used 50hz tone when i had no BB, and when i used it, i used a 60hz tone. the only way i was able to reach my needed volts, was when my gains are just over 3/4 set, and my bass boost is about the same spot, 15-17db. but is that about normal? would it be better if i maxed out the bass boost and compensated with my gai…

  24. I am just wondering, coming from an Sq person to spl, I still tend to choose amps for clean power and heaps of headroom, size is never really an issue (as in footprint) as I will make it fit. I rarely even look at features as well. (mostly because I am running active, all I really need is a gain.
