i have a 98 eclipse and i am tring to decide if i should run 4 sa-10's on 2 1500d's or 2 ns 10's on 2 3500d's wondering which would be louder to the ear what do you guys think and i know you wont know untill its put in and tried just wondering about basic assumptions and what kind of opinions i might get

So I'm running Sundown 100.4 with fronts and backs with no problem for last month or two. But I have a problem with 125.2, I just hokked everything up and this amp that feeds subs is turning on and off constantly, as soon as there is a bass in the song it hits very quiet, barely noticable and amp turns itself off, but as the bass dissapears in the song amp turns itself back on, and it's like that throughout the whole song, it will literally turn on and off maybe 20 times in 1 minute. by looking at your products alone you know your shit about subs. i have a pair of 10's i had built for me a couple years back 60lbs each so there is some serious magnets on them. the bl/re in series is only a 92 im guessing this is due to the coil. if i had it rebuilt to something with twice the motor strength what could i see in output diffrence? current coils are round copper 8layer not sure on what the rest of the specs are. i know they could use a spider spacer for more travel they will hit the top plate before the coil can bottom. is it possible the charge is weak on the magnets?

I worked all day yesterday getting my Maxx-Link working properly. I'm 99% positive it was an issue with the outputs on my old head unit. Now I'm trying to get everything fine tuned perfect and there are a lot of adjustments on this thing. My only concern is what to set the ouput of the Maxx-Link to? Its currently set to 5v but can I go higher? Will the 1500s take the full 9v output? I checked the owner's manual but didn't see it listed. Also since I'm not using the br output to strap the amps, do I still need to gain match them? How does that work? I'm used to only setting one amp and now its like I have to set both amps and the Maxx-Link which is driving me cra…

I have two sundown audio sa-10s that i'm not to happy with. They're not getting very loud at all off a saz2500d and i think my box is to blame. I designed and built the enclosure myself, its suppose to be 2.5cubes after displacements tuned to 32hz but not sure how well that worked out. Im at the point where i'm considering selling the 10's and upgrading to 12's or a single 15 cause i'm frustrated with how they sound. I can try a new box but would hate to put the time and money into it if thats not the problem. Current box dimensions are 30x20x14 exterior and the port is 3x12.5x31. I know the amp has not been released yet.. But I have preordered the amp through a rep and is expected to come in the beginning of june. Any recomendations of electrical upgrades on my vehicle. batteries, wires, alternator, etc...I have a 2000 Honda passport lx. I will also be running a sax-100.4 also. I'm trying get everything as good as it could get so I can run the amps efficiently and get its full potential without blowing them.

i can get either for the same price.whats the difference other than 200wts. is there an advantage of one over the other? Im just lookin for some help, both units make the power i need at the right load , so which should i choose

Hey guys i am looking for a tuning frequency for 2-15inch NS to use for SPL. My box will have interchangeable ports one for daily and one for an SPL show. my daily will be 34hz and for spl... i don't know what to use 40? 30? any recommendations on this would be awesome! i am using 2-6inch aero ports btw! in a 6cubic box powered by 2-saz2000 strapped and yes this is my new build starting around April if not much sooner!!!! thanks for your time and recommendations! Hey i was just trying to find the specs for the Z v.3 12" sub. i was looking around the store and web and wasn't able to really find any specs, like sensitivity Etc.... i was just was wondering what it was. hi, i got around to measure to see where i can mount the amps that i am about to get. and it looks like i am going to have to mount the 1500d on the enclosure. now the enclosure is 3/4 mdf with bracing. i figure if i mount the 1500d on a 1" thick mdf board then mount that to the enclosure that will be enough to limit the vibrations and any other problems with mounting amps on enclosure. so will that be enough or should i go thicker.

just bought a 98 Lincoln towncar and getting a temp system with a small footprint to keep trunk space. the car has a huge trunk but I only want to utilize the back deck portion of the trunk which measures 44w by 13h by 16 deep(could go deeper)... gives me about 4.24 cubes. any ideas or feedback is appreciated

Does the saz1500 have a signal output, so you could run rcas from it to another amp? I'm thinking about getting a smaller amp for mids and highs and wanted to know if I would have to run another set of rcas from deck? Or if the saz could output it. Thanks

I have had my my 3000d since Feb. back when I was pushing a pair(2) of 12'' L7s. I never got hot. Just recently I have changed my subs to a pair(2) of 15'' DD 9500. Now my amp get hot. It went thermal once. I have the gain set at alittle over a half. Bass Boost to zero, Phase to zero, and subsonic all the way down. What would cause my amp to heat up? Do my subs need more power? Am I not giving my amp enough power? I still have a stock alt at the moment(I ordered a bigger alt with 200 amps). Two retop optimas. One has the main starting and the other in the trunk. I already did the big three. Any suggestions would really help. Thanks.

ok so i'm about ready to buy my amps. i will have 4 15" fully loaded 1 ohm btl's in about 16 cubes tuned to 32hz. but before i buy the amps...can a 3000d handle a pair of fully loaded btl's @ 1ohm? only time it will get turned up loud will be for competition burps. maybe to turn up for demos for friends . other than that it'll be regular volume, so nothing strenuous. i have a 200 amp H/O alt atm, couple extra batteries (will upgrade to some kinetiks in the future), and i'm getting a solid 14.3/14.4 volts. i may try to add another alt if money allows. also...would bass race be out of the question with this setup? to prevent burning up the amps? i'm kinda going out on a l…
