My 100.2 was pushing a set of PG RSD's until the passenger side mid and tweet stopped working.....but the drivers side was fine. I replaced the PG's with a set of Pioneer TS-C720PRS and after two weeks I noticed the tweeter from passenger side was cutting out. Eventually the tweeter stopped working all together, and now my mid is cutting out on me......and it doesn't matter if it is at high volumes or low volumes. So basically to sum it all up: The channel that's pushing my passenger side has blown through two different comp sets and I'm wondering if something is wrong with the amp, or if I'm doing something wrong (the drivers side mid and tweet are fine). so ive just finished building my 2nd box for these, and still not satisfied. ive done subs forward, port up in middle, but the box made me move my seat to close to the steering wheel it was 6 cubes 80sq inches of port, and i think there wasn't enough port area. sounded good though. my new box is subs up, port up (drivers side) 6 cubes, 94 sq inches of port. both box's tuned to 32 hz, so im looking to for help on something will i will be happy with, im not looking for numbers, just something that gets low and hella loud at it. my truck is a 99 s10 ext cab. do i need a bigger box for such low tuning? higher tuning? i play a lot of low 30-35 hz songs when i have it full ti…

got a stock alt still, it's a 92' camry wagon (dont know what the amps are with that) and (2) 3500d's and (2) 3100's....should I get a volt meter just to be on the safe side....Im not sure how long I should play the system with just a stock alt?

Maybe I should run multiple smaller amps instead of 1 large amp. So instead of a 3000, maybe 2 1500's. I am liking the idea of it, more wiring options. What do yall think?

i was just wondering what the typical output on a 100.4 will do at 2 ohm. i have 2 sets of re xxx comps and i wanted to know if this amp will supply enough power to them

Greetings Folks, I'm in the process of upgrading my setup to 2 RE Audio SX15's and I'm on the verge of crossing over into Sundown's territory by powering them with a SAZ-3000D. The amp will see a 2ohm load. I have no intentions of competing but I want to shake things up whenever I get the urge (usually when cops aren't present). Would this be an ideal amp for these subs as a daily driver? The subs are going in a 8 cube CRX box tuned to 34hz. The vehicle is a 2001 Chevy Tahoe. Thanks to all for your views/replies!!

which way should i go. i have 16 mids for the MINI. all 8 ohm. 8 per door. they will be wired in pairs of 4, in parallel, making each set of 4 mids a 2 ohm load. so its either 2 100.2s, with 8 mids per amp (basically 1 amp per door) running each channel at 2 ohms or 1 100.4, running 4 mids per channel, at 2 ohms. the 100.2 is rated 200 x 2 @ 2 ohms the 100.4 is rated 160 x 2 @ 2 ohms i know the 100.2 is supposedly a little more underrated than the 100.4 is, but i found a good deal (IMO) on 2 100.2s, bnib for 370 shipped. what do you guys think?

is it safe to buy a refurbished amp? im planing on buying a bnew sae1200d but i saw that dbr is selling refurbished amps. and iam thinking on buying a refurbished saz1500d. whats the down side in buying refurbished amps? aside from its already used. any suggestions?? thanks

I was checking out the sundown SA-12's on this website and was wondering if there is a build time for the marked down subs? And as far as the RMS rating goes is it underrated like the Fi subs? Also would a 2.3cuft box @ 34hz with about 25 square inches of port be ok? Here is the link: My link

well i'm throwing my first show this month and would like some feedback from you guy's. 1-2 woofer's 3-4 woofer's armagedan (anything goes just dont break my sensor) first place winner's will win a 4 gauge install kit with rca's and anybody that enter's has a chance to win a custom box,2 10" subs,6.5" comp's or a small 2 channel amp. 1) is 1 cu ft good after all displacements? I'll be over powering it alittle 2) how much port area? I'm tuning between 30-33 hz?

Ya ya, my wiring is kinda messy right now but it might not be permant. and yes i know i shouldnt brag about "novice" trophy but it was my first time, and i still hit a 144.3 off two type R's with no tuning jus playin with it. on my btl i hit a 147.30. The guy that got first hit a 147.33 with 4 Type R 15''s. FYI GORRILA DUCK TAPE FTW!!!! at the show still filling the aero leaks on the aero's SAZ 3K btl 18 fully loaded 4.5 cu ft tuned to ....???? didnt have time to correct the aeros.

Well I have 4 sa-8's and have messed around with 5 different boxes with different configurations. I posted my best score today using MECA AS2 specs. I scored a 137.5 on a single 8" sub. This smoked several larger systems built by people who didn't know any better.

Will the new nightshade 12 for sale at th SSA shop handle the SAZ-3000 daily?
