currently i run 2 12s off 2 1500ds... i am am having issues with wheter to stick with the 12's or change baskets and softparts to 15's... but before i go that route i wanna know how loud can 2 12's get in an optimal enclosure to acheive a little more loudness and range from these subs. as of right they they are crazy loud!!!!! but you always wanna a little more to see what these beasts can do. i've been talkin to pete about another box for my tweles and possibly 1 if i choose to recone them... we were working on a design that will have the subs drop as low as 15-20hz and still sound good all the way up to 90hz (daily beater) the box i have now is 4.4 cubes @ 35hz and real…

Im planning on getting 2 15" NightShades v2 and was wondering if I should go with 2 saz2500s or 2 1500s. i know SD underrates just about everything so what do yall recommend? Also what else should I get as in electrical. how many batts and im guessing i would need a HO alt? Ill most likely do the big3 as well.

ok is it possible to strap them at .5 nominal strictly for burping?? also how many batteries would i need to give them the juice they need?

I have 2 1500d's, only one is in my car right now. I have an AA havoc 18d2 in the car as well. I am looking to add another 18 soon. My question is: will I get more efficency and power with both amps running seperately at 1 ohm a piece or running strapped at 2 ohms? I have factory electrical(110amp alt) for now, will be upgrading it soon as well. I just want to run the 2 18's without destroying anything in my car. Any help would be appreciated.

I have 2 10's that handle 8000 rms burps a peice and need major powwer for burping only and i dont have much room the 1500d's wqill fit perfect I have 5 batteries and a 160 amp altternator i will be running these amps at this ohm load for competing only then return them too 2 ohms strapped for daily use i know it will void my warranty but can these amps do it

Right now I have 2 BL 18's D2 running off 2 strapped 1500ds with final load of 2 ohm. If I ran 3 D2's what would amp put out and would it be stable for daily? Or should I buy another 1500d, and just run 1 to each sub

I have 2 ns v.2 12's D2 and 2 3500s strapped to 1 ohm. How ballzy must 1 be to strap to 0.5 for 0.25 each? Would there be a good db gain?

Hey I have 2 component sets and a SAX 100.4 with no room to get another amp, is it possible to bridge them both cause I need the extra power so they can keep up with my 18's? maybe double them up or something is this possible? Thank you

hey jacob i bought 2 sa-8s at seperate times and i just got the second one this week its got a different surround than my first one. the new one has a bigger/ higher surround they are both the bolt down spider version and also on the dust cap the sundown audio written is smaller than the other is it ok to use them together in a common chamber?

Hi everyone, I know I've read something about it but I don't remember where, and I can't find it ! One of my friend is running a 15" D1 xcon sub with 2 Sundown saz 1000 d strapped at 2 Ohms. He uses the gain remote. Now he's planning a new build with 2 subs and 4 saz 1000. 2 amps per sub. He will have to use 2 remote, and only wants one. What can he do , what to buy to have only one remote to control the gain on the 2 (2)amplifiers ? Thanks for your help

Want to know how 2 12" Nightshade would do in 2.742 cubes and on a Sound Stream xxx-6500d at 1 ohms?? I was worried about the box being to big I am only about a 1/4 to 1/2 up on gain right now on two Mass Destruction Napalm's and they sound good but are really made for a smaller box.. 1) Would it harm the amp if you do not use all the channels? Need to send one of my speakers back for warranty and wondering if there is no speaker on channel 4 if that would hurt the amp. 2) Friend wants to upgrade his system. What type of power does bridging channels 3 & 4 give? Want to possibly run a pair of components and a sub.

Would two D2 SA-8's do ok on an Audiopipe AP1000D running at 2ohms? That would be 700watts rms. Also, how would the sound compare to a single 10 or 12 in an SQ type setup?

I'm about to sell my Fi Bl 12 and was looking at the SA series subs. I've never done 10's, so i was looking at doing 2 10's (of course the box will be behind the seat). I can fit up to 2.8 cubes behind the seat, but looking at about 2.3 after port and sub displacement. My current setup does a 140.0 on the dash (at 40 hz), the box is tuned to 28 hz, and it smashes the lows like no other. I'm wanting to know what would be a good box volume and port area to run 2 10's in that would get me into that range, or hopefully higher. Also, i'll be running about 1300-1400 wrms to the pair. i have 2 sa 12's the box is .75 mdf outside measured 40.75wX12tX20d. im looking for a tune of 35hz looking to do meca as well is been a while. where do tune need to be for headrest still tuned high or lower? whats the best way to change the port for competing? subs up port rear
